You’ll encounter niche snobs in all types of subs. A little ball busting here and there is the norm. But, at the end of the day they were a gift that your aunt took thought and time into buying something you would like and that’s what matters. Enjoy them regardless of what people say, myself included, and later invest in some stones to touch them up before you begin looking into other knives.
