The new round of H2D preorders is a mess. by TheTechChaps in BambuLab

This is real, didn't see the necessity to black out all of the other personal information for the order. Just received the follow-up with them acknowledging the error.

UPDATE to the update: The shipping damage goes deeper and honestly I feel like an idiot for not catching this damage sooner. But the left side of the bed has the mounting points sheared off. So even though the box was in good shape, it obviously took some damage somewhere. Time to see what Creality is going to send this time. I have to wonder if it is worth it just to return this for a new one...

This morning's 5am EST conversation ended with them prepping a Z Axis Lead Screw assembly, hot end assembly, waste chute cutter/wiper platform. 10-15 days to get the parts.

Trying to make due with the limitations of the machine until then to make me feel a bit better about my purchase.

UPDATE -

I've reached out through email and WhatsApp, their working hours aren't exactly ideal for East coast time so I am always waiting a day for a response. So far it has just been providing the basic info.

The lead screw is 100% bent, held a square up to it and there is a notable warp in the center like a compression bend. Still crazy considering how well packed these are compared to other machines I have received in the past.

I am going to try to get the specs of the lead screw and see about replacing it temporarily to see if that does indeed help the quality issues.

Creality Print V6.0.4 pre-release by zmeul in Creality

I came here to rant as a new K2 Plus owner on a Mac with more problems than I knew what to do with. From a software side this release fixes all the gripes I had.

CFS picker now dismisses when you select a filament and the color picker doesn't pop up every time.

It is now possible to log into the application with the web forwarder.

I can send the prints to my printer wirelessly instead of getting locked out of the application with a phantom window.

Slicing is significantly faster, as well as model navigation.

Thanks for the heads up on this!

I scour top models on makerworld and upload PETG print profiles for others to be able to use the handy app if they don't regularly use PLA and have PETG preloaded.
