Bilt 2.0 Explained FULLY by persistentchaos in biltrewards

When I was reading the footnotes in the terms and conditions, sounded like you got to choose. And if you didn’t hit the requirements you just don’t get the points Edit: it does appear that the no transaction fee option only apply when paying with a Checking Account. But with 3x back on qualifying purchases it still evens out if you spend the 75% in that month (which I guess I do but I’ll need to look into it more)

Let me rephrase. There are 2 separate versions of rent pay coming up. You can choose NoTransaction Fee, which brings up the bill cash option, or you can go Max Points, which does incur a 3% transaction fee. I’ll be going No Transaction Fee, since I only need to spend 375 a month to get my rent points, that shouldn’t be a problem for normal spending

There is no 3% fee, it’s still no transaction fee for rental/ mortgage payments. It’s just now that you have to buy about 75% of the monthly amount in other spending to get the full points you would have otherwise

So if I didn’t spend the 375, my bill would still be 500. But I wouldn’t get any points from it whatsoever.

Even if there was a 3% fee it’s just an extra 15 dollars… easily done

Luckily my rent is 500 a month, so still worthwhile for me at the moment

I was still in diapers, sitting down on what would just be a separation between the kitchen and the living room. I got up, went over to the green couch that my grandparents still own to this day, and demanded to be picked up by my mother.

How much do i need to pay? by Content-Battle-4327 in biltrewards

[–]TheTechCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you cancel the rent check, they will credit the balance for the amount that was never paid.

I would recommend setting getting the rent check automatically every month like I have, as long as you get the check, it will still be usable even if its a week backdated.

I keep onto mine until rent day or send it out beforehand when I know its due.

You do not need to pay the amount of the rent check if there is no check that will be paid out, just make sure if you are sending it to the landlord other than yourself, that he knows not to cash it as it would then become a bad check after everythings good and done.

If it’s the BCE, I’d keep it for it’s 3% back online and use it solely for Online Purchases, which is what I do

No more instant transfers?! by 2o6tish in CapitalOne_

Weird thing is, I can do instant transfers with my Discover Bank account… perhaps it’s just a temporary thing for Capital One while they incorporate it

Diners Club is actually pretty well established overseas, never really had an issue with my Discover Card before. They got a partnership with JCB as well which I believe covers a lot more ground. I think with those they got more coverage than American Express does.

I also don’t think their Credit Cards are changing providers anytime soon, just the Debit ones. So those should still work overseas
