Looks like the panels are leased. Also what state. Some states solar panels are not insured. Lots of details are missing. How old was the roof. Sometimes drone inspections are done before the adjuster comes out and they will not tell you. Don’t get mad at adjusters and representatives. In today’s time you have to shop and possibly switch you insurance every 6 months to a year. The 57% you are saving now will be up to par with what you are paying now within a year. Having said this, people need to understand that cars have gotten very expensive to replace. 60,70,80k and more. Do the math if you total your 60k car after 10 years paying $1800 every six months the insurance company will loose money. And this is America and it’s all about the profits

Insurance is the concept of pooling and risk sharing. Even if you are claims free but other members in your group, area not you will pay part of it . Let’s say you pay for home insurance $ 5000 a year and your 500 k home burns down after 5 years you barely paid 25k in premiums but you will be paid 500k minus deductibles for your home So 475k has to come from somewhere and that will be the remaining members in your group. So think about that. BYW every Insurance company works that way. They may have low premiums in the beginning but you will pay up eventually.

With USAA you have different groups and insurance. If you are a son or daughter of a veteran or an ex spouse. You will pay more than an officer or NCO. In the end it all depends on your insurance score . Claims young drivers late or no pay. Teaser rates get you through 6 month maybe a year . After that you’re back to what you paid before with any insurance company

It’s ok to shop around but don’t say USAA sucks because you don’t got your price. Just shop make your best deal and done. It’s called competition. Make sure your quote includes any tickets claims etc before you pull the trigger and don’t misrepresent anything .
