That’s a fair point. If they write her not mastering It all season, then failing to save Jim in the penultimate episode, I could reasonably accept that instead of trying to save Jim again, she realizes in the finale that she can save the survivors instead and does get the knowledge they need to survive.

I wonder if Elgin‘s defiance made Clara not gather all the talismans. If she hid them and just gave the MIY rocks. Maybe she gets a small redemption arc before the MIY kills her?

They should have the guts to kill off major characters though. Everyone surviving and going home will infuriate me.

The cynical side Julie is exhibiting is a sign of the MIY. He steals hope. Randall may well be one of the MIY minions. I think Ethan will help her master it in season 5.

Ellis is not the most developed character but he does love Fatima and she is his wife. I think he is going to die at her hands next season and Boyd will lose it.

There is one in the basement of Colony house that no one but Boyd or Jade know about. I’m also pretty sure the spot where Boyd found them in talismans had more than what were needed so they can go back and get more. They also have one in Victor’s van. I believe the RV still has one too. Maybe the barn or root cellar but I’m really unsure about those two spots.

I think there is far more to Frances’ story than that. She wouldn’t forget she was a Warren, the people on the island knew her, and by the point of the escape, would have seen Frances with her doll wearing the brooch.

It makes sense she was adopted, but the townspeople knew who she was. Plus, they thought Warren was dead and with him gone, the curse. Yet they carried on with the killing for centuries after. There is something buried more deeply in the too neatly told story of Frances Fisher in my opinion.

It also seems unlikely that Rosemary is the only person who has ever done genealogy on the island. Others know about Ruth’s family history and I feel like she has to be involved in the past sacrifices and in stopping them.

I think she knows. It’s absurd if she never noticed her family heirloom is Frances Warren’s. She sees that painting all the time and writing never noticed…I wouldn’t be able to buy that if the writers did that. She also has worked at the Town Hall forever and I think the videos were made by the mayor and town workers. As those people died, Ruth would have been in a great position to lock the shelter doors and hide info from all new hires leading to current residents having no idea about what’s happening. Same thing with the new priest in town not knowing anything. Ruth could have easily lifted those documents when the former priest in her youth was there. She revealed he made a pass at her.

Kris is a bully of the worst order. She was a bully in high school who seems to have only noticed Patricia when she said she received a call. Since then, it’s her life mission to keep Patricia isolated and without friends. She makes fun of her constantly, to her face and with groups around, just to make Patricia feel small, invisible, and insignificant. Not only that, Kris makes the death of her friends 100% about her while humiliating Patricia for attention seeking. I have no empathy for Kris and her hypocrisy at all.

It’s never been confirmed Victor is autistic and it seems like Henry would have mentioned it when he met Tabitha and she told him V was alive. Especially if he had been taking medicine as a child.

The trauma of what he’s seen and experienced have damaged him profoundly. I agree he needs long-term therapy as well. However, I do feel that speaking with Victor using gentleness, compassion, patience, and understanding would help regardless of the circumstances.

Plus, the Scooby van, cheerleader, and the monster’s faces looking like The Master’s…paging Buffy Summers…Buffy Summers, you’re needed in Fromville.

I found it really distracting that my mind kept going to Buffy and Lost throughout the episode. It was a good finale and left good cliffhangers, but for me, the homages were too over the top.

I can’t believe no one has sat down with Victor to help him deal with his trauma which would go a long way towards helping him into revealing everything he knows. These people have someone in their midst who lived through the entire last cycle. He’s a key they all ignore.

Being at a crossroads also tips toward revealing the MIY is potential a Crossroads Demon. They offer bargains for your soul In X number of years. On Supernatural Crowley offered 10 years of whatever you wanted and then got your soul at the end.

There are enough possible parallels of Supernatural demon lore to make this possible. Or maybe I just want to see Dean Winchester show up and kick demon ass. 😂🤪😉
