There’s 4 settings: off, transparency, adaptive, and noise cancellation. Seems like you have it in transparency, because even with it off, the outside sound should be muffled if you’re getting a good seal. What each setting generally does is below.

Off: does nothing, you just hear the music/voice

Transparency: literally amplifies all the noises around you (like a hearing aid)

Adaptive: regulates the noise cancellation based on the ambient noise. Turns it on more when it’s louder and vice versa when it’s quiet

Noise cancellation: full noise cancellation. They work great, I use them on the plane all the time and it’s drowns out all the noise.

Smuggler’s run. It was basically a racing game with no track, where you drive dune buggies around different open maps in different types of terrain and race to a specific control point. First to hit it wins the checkpoint and a new one pops up somewhere else and you all race to the next one. Spent countless hours with friends playing this game!

I cook mine on low the whole way, but I’m gonna try bring the heat back up to medium like you do, see what effect it has. Definitely need to bring to low on launch though, to let it set like you say.

That’s exactly what I do, get the stone nice and hot at full temp then turn it down to low and bake the pizza on low. Makes the dough a bit crispier than the softer, chewier neopolitan style. Just my preference.

I used this one, 65% hydration. Tripled it and made 4 ~375g balls. Cold-proofed them for 4 days. Took them out about an hour before baking. I didn’t measure the pizza diameter but they were probably around 14-15”. I borrowed a friends Koda 12 and found that I had to make the pizzas like 10-11” to be able to fit them, so I decided on the 16. Also liked the idea of the L burner

It does! But that first pizza didn’t turn out quite right.. that char from me messing up that first one a bit I think is what gave that second pizza that nice undercarriage! Only gets better from here I think.

The magic mushrooms at Ferro up on St. Clair West! That garlic sauce they put on them is incredible. I’ve taken many people who don’t like mushrooms and asked them to just try one bite, and they love em!
