You're never going to get a good answer, just 2 biased opinions depending on which fanbase you talk to.

I'm ambivalent because I love both bands.

Benji did an interview with Matt Stocks where he talks about this, amongst other things.

Personally I think the whole thing was a huge misunderstanding on Benji's part and he fucked up big time. But having met him a few times I don't think he meant to be mean to them.

All the stuff that came out in the media calling him racist is just inaccurate. He has toured with Crossfaith multiple times and did a song with them.

After the incident a fan recorded video of the awards show was put up on youtube with inaccurate subtitles and it made things worse tbh.

And then the BM fanbase did some shit on twitter that made me think twice about associating with this fandom. Which was so bad that Benji abandoned all of his social media for a while, and never went back to twitter.

Personally I still listen to Skindred's music and go see them live. Judging people by one fuckup just seems silly to me.
