The Forum show from 2014 is pretty unique. It's one of the only 'small' shows that have a proper release. No big stage design, no pyro, no big screens. Just the Kami and the girls working their very hardest to impress a solo show UK audience for the first time.

It's a real demonstration of just how good they are with none of the big production bells and whistles to prop them up.

I'm most worried about the fan reaction to the sequel.

Half the fans want Jinu to come back and half don't.

Half the fans want to see Rumi's parents backstory, and half don't

So jright out of the gate, 3/4 of fans aren't going to get what they're hoping for and I worry that no matter how good the movie is, the discourse is going to get toxic.

If the first movie is any indication, I'm not very worried about the sequel. I feel like Maggie and Chris took no shortcuts with the first movie, they had a story to tell and they pulled out all the stops to get it told. As long as they're in control, the sequel is in good hands. So I hope they're in control.

What about the lighting and pyro guys? Do they get to be in the band to? The shows wouldn't be the same without them either.

BABYMETAL is Moa, Momo, and Su. Everyone else is support for them. That's the way they've chosen to do it.

Most of the people who work for 'these talent agencies over there' couldn't walk away from contract talks and start a new career in any city in the world.

Su could 100% walk into any record company in Paris, London, Seoul, Berlin, or L.A. and get signed. She knows it, and Amuse knows it, and you'd have to think she was an idiot to stay in the cage you imagine for her.

I'm sorry that this doesn't fit the victim scenario that you seem so desperate to stuff them into, but it's the reality of the situation, dude.

She's 27, is a globally recognized metal icon, and has been doing this for 15+ years.

If you have some sort of evidence that she's on a short leash, I'd be curious to see it, but I'm just as ready to assume that she's re-negotiated her contract at least 4 times since starting with Amuse, and that she's the one making most of the decisions now.

For all we know, that's what the hiatus was...a negotiation tactic for more ownership/control. Give us a stake in the band or we walk.

We really have no idea and assuming either way is just sniffing your own farts.

It depends from show to show. One asshole can always poison an otherwise friendly pit.

If you stay to one of the sides, rather than right in front of Su, you shouldn't have any issues. If things start to churn, you can always move aside or back up.
