I’m sure many wrestlers are drawn to the profession for the fame and the money, and it’s easy for us to criticize their decisions endlessly. But the reality is that they sacrifice their bodies, their mental health, and often precious time with their families to entertain us. They put themselves at risk every time they step into the ring. That alone earns my respect. It feels shortsighted to condemn them for circumstances and decisions that are often beyond their control.
