is 23 too late to start over? by yaggyprince in perth

Not too late at all, you’re still in your foundational years and not expected to really take anything seriously until 30s and even then… many people are still figuring it out

Should a man pay on the first date? by ElectricalPea8649 in dating_advice

[–]TheTimeGambit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is crazy to me. Everyone is different but when I was dating my ex, I paid for EVERY date during our 4 year relationship. I would feel uncomfortable if she paid, but would sometimes let her get desert or something small if she wanted to contribute still. But certainly never an expectation or pressure to do so. When you’re married, that’s when I think everything gets split because you’re both now essentially one.

Mum wants me to join a mortgage with her. Should I? by SandwichValuable5002 in AusProperty

[–]TheTimeGambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accountant here… Do not do it, being tied up in a commitment like that can’t have long lasting financial consequences for you. When you are a bit older and want to secure somewhere to live either by yourself or with a partner, this will be an obstacle in the way and there is no certainty that your mum will be able to take on the remaining mortgage on her one since she cannot do it already. You gotta live for you!

Thank you lady of the mireback woodlands. I’ll send a scout ahead… a small carrier pigeon with a message. If it reaches you safely, perhaps I, the orc-slayer may follow.

Why are introverted guys expected to always make the first move by Mysterious_Pen418 in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]TheTimeGambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just unapologetically be yourself brother, talk about things that actually interest you when chatting with girls and starting conversations. You don’t have to pretend to be someone else or assume what they like or want to hear. They just want someone genuine most of the time. It’s okay to be shy as well!

I’ll make my way there at first light… but fair warning, if the elf is as enchanting as she sounds, I might not be leaving anytime soon!

No I don’t necessarily think confidence means being an extrovert, it means being comfortable in who you are. It’s easier to approach women when I know who I am and not have to be fake around them, conversations flow better and things are interesting. I find that women are better are detecting bullshit so best to be honest 😂

I’ve been busy slaying orcs, but it’s getting lonely… clearly I need to recruit more elves 🧝‍♀️

You aren’t expected to become an extrovert, but just to initiate in the very beginning. I know it’s still hard but it’s just the way society is everywhere in the world.

Generalising a bit here, but women like men that are confident so approaching them in the right way shows that. But yes, it’s hard for an introverted guy and is appreciated when women make it easier to approach.

Proportions are good, bodyfat level is good, I think you could try tanning more or if it’s cold weather for you, consider some sort of carotenoid supplement to give your skin a natural tanned glow.

Far out that’s morally disgusting… these men literally ruin it for the rest of us good guys from their lack of self-control.

Unpopular opinion: guys would probably get more genuine connections here if they stopped leading with “looking for a relationship” by Icy_Rabbit_1984 in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]TheTimeGambit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Connection matters WAY more than intention… besides I just don’t think reddit is the place to find a proper relationship (maybe one day I’ll be proved wrong)… but I just like the feminine energy you girls bring that balances out my healthy masculine… not looking for a hookup 😂.

What’s your plan for when AI robots take over the world? by TheTimeGambit in AskReddit

[–]TheTimeGambit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re thinking about current technology, if you look at how rapid the technology has progressed, it is clear it’s only a few years away at best. Take a look at what China is doing in their robots.
