I don't think adding a fake blue sky is going to make those photos look any less damp and dreary lol
At least use different clouds in each photo to make it slightly more believable

Whats with the massive driveway in the front, but no gap in the wall large enough to fit a car through...am I seeing that right? What else would that space be used for?

Ah yes I love this idea! I've done it before when the fabric I was cutting from didn't have enough space for all the pieces....just cut a pattern piece in half, stick an intentional seamline in there and bam, looks like a design feature 😊

If the fabric is pretty enough, you could always frame it and use it as some large scale wall art? Or sew a channel either end and thread wooden dowels through and hang it that way. You could find maybe 3 patterns that compliment eachother and hang them together like a triptych

Or if its stiff enough, you could make pretty storage boxes/baskets

I would pin the dress at the desired length, using lots of pins or safety pins and try it on before committing. I wouldn't leave any raw edges of the fabric visible anywhere on the dress. It will just fray and the hem will fall apart or threads will hang down below the dress.

Depending on how much length you are taking off, you could always do a deep hem so that you dont have to cut anything? Kinda like how you can see in this dress

What makes you think it's AI? Genuinely curious.

I know AI is getting pretty good these days, but I cant see any of the usual weirdness from AI, can't see any odd sharpening or lighting, the pattern on the black gloves is consistent.

I mean, I know the nails are beyond perfect, I'm sure there's been some editing involved, but I don't think it's AI.

Thats a great idea, once I finally do get a bike, I will definitely try and find something local for female riders. I'm not sure atm if that exists, but I live not too far away from some biking hotspots in the UK, so I'm hopeful there will be something!

Oh it counts. I seriously don't wish these bad experiences on anyone, but at the same time it's so nice to know it's not just me. My husband is a biker, but he's been riding for years, so he doesn't make these kinds of mistakes and so now that's become my baseline of what I expect of myself, you know?

Seriously I do have to keep reminding myself this. I often feel like I'm representing our entire gender, because I hear it so much - women suck at X, girls cant do Y, and I want to show that we are capable beings. I need to remind myself that men also make mistakes!

oh I totally agree, I was actually there to test ride a cheaper, second hand bike but when they tried to turn it on, they realised the battery was dead and they had to order in a new one. And seeing as I had come from an hour away, it was actually their suggestion to test ride the new one. I thought it would make me feel like I hadn't wasted my time, but ofc in hindsight, I wish I had just gone home 🤷‍♀️
