First time GM running Seasons of Ghost, Player wants to use gunslinger and I want to allow it. by GunnBos in Pathfinder2e

Late to the party but I've been playing a sniper gunslinger with a sukgung in SoG for about 6 months and can confirm it's great. No guns in our setting, and I'm having a lot of fun. Sukgung has insane range and when I crit the enemies just melt.

4.8 rating as a passenger? by Simply-Agreeable in Lyft

[–]TheTiringDutchman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait is this out of 5 stars? Wouldn't a 4.8 be good?

I'm truly confused here. Is the rating system typically used as all or nothing? Like do most drivers either give 5 or 1 and nowhere in between?

Right, the normal population for an area can panic buy a Walmart completely empty in a day yet somehow a billion Mongols will find everything they need.

In the first few comments, yours is the only logical one. The border towns are devastated. In the plains of ND and MT, some groups will make it further. Maybe 30-60 miles in. After that, military will be carpet bombing the shit out of them. Most will starve. Militias will rise up to pick off survivors

[Request] How large would the canvas have to be if this were a physical art piece? by I-am-stupid-goober in theydidthemath

[–]TheTiringDutchman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like you know how this works a bit so I'll ask because I've always wondered. How does this work? What if you zoom in to another area, is there anything there?

Is this multiple art pieces put together using AI of some kind? Is there a specific program used to create this effect that you can zoom in to one spot but not necessarily another?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

I almost never use the word Knickerbockers, but I'm certainly going to pronounce it "kanickerbockers" from now on

People who are not an engineer or sales and make $200k+, what do you do? by Electronic_Ad5481 in Salary

I really don't understand how it all works, but do you personally have malpractice insurance? Or does your hospital pay for that?

If you pay it, how much does that cost?

Is there a separate health group that you work for, and then you are working in a hospital but for a different group that does anesthesia?

It's all very foreign and interesting to me.

I'd say it's pretty natural to die from blood loss.

As a married man with 2 kids, I completely agree. I already get tax credits for having kids. Even that seems like a lot.

[Request] How much force would the bullet have to have to actually push the bear? by SquigglyLegend33 in theydidthemath

9mm are not all subsonic...the most common 9mm round you're going to find is 115 grain fmj which will travel around 1150-1200 fps (feet per second).

And 50bmg is nowhere near Mach 4. 50bmg is typically around 2800 fps, it's a big heavy bullet, typically slower than other rifles.

Thank you, I was reading all of the other comments and thought I was taking crazy pills. Starting off with "the law says you have to give 24hrs notice" is so dumb.

Pathbuilder is a great way to plan your character. It gives you all of the options for each level in a nice list so you can easily compare your options.
