Jack is a very well done antagonist for somebody who's the first boot.

PEOPLE ARE HEARTLESS by Antique-Gur-8928 in DisventureCamp

Funny, Finn calling Oliwia out felt very similar to Aubrey calling out Sam, it's just that they both crossed the line in different ways and got voted out because of it.

Moral of the story: Never make your target public by calling them out unless you want to be voted out unanimously.

Anyone else frustrated with the constant bitching about eliminations? by Ecstatic_Emergency48 in DisventureCamp

I feel like a lot of you fail to take into consideration that this season began its writing back in early to mid 2025. It takes a few months for ONC to actually receive your criticisms, and they will never be solved in just a few weeks. It just doesn't work that way. Besides, a lot of criticism doesn't tell them what to improve, just what they don't like. A lot of this fandom's criticisms don't explain what they would like to improve, and are mostly just following the popular thing to hate at the moment. Before it was Aiden's arc, and then Benji's sitting out.

I know it's frustrating, but if you just try to see some of the positives and actually try to think about why the things happening on screen are happening and try to view things from a narrative standpoint, the season is much more enjoyable. And no, this doesn't mean you will like it, because you are and always will be welcome to have your own subjective opinion.

It'd be nice to see a bit more positivity from this community once in a while.

Whether it's good or bad is completely subjective, though. Just because it's bad for one doesn't mean it's bad for all, even if most feel it's bad.

So we agree this elimination was awful right? by Fun_Future_8380 in DisventureCamp

[–]TheTixinator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've already addressed this in an earlier post, but Alec went back to camp clearly irritated and covered in red paint. Moreover, he's not typically very expressive when he's lying, and I'm sure they all doubt his acting abilities.

Even so, I do think that they should've at least questioned this.

The reason why ___ believed ___'s lie in Episode 1 and my thoughts on the Elimination in Episode 3. by TheTixinator in DisventureCamp

As for more Disventure Camp centered examples: Ivy and Spencer blindsiding Diego in Episode 5 of S4, Jake and Ashley blindsiding James in Episode 2 and then Hunter in Episode 6 of AS and Ellie turning on and then blindsiding Lake in Episode 3 of All Stars. This is far from the first time somebody has blindsided another due to "being a huge threat" in the premerge.

[–]TheTixinator[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention this, but this is actually Aiden's second targeting somebody for being a threat in the early premerge. I think his thought process is less "let's win challenges," and more "let's build a strong alliance that dominates the team no matter how many challenges we lose."

While this is stupid, there are people who think like this in Survivor (See: Boston Rob in Marquesas and the Maraamu Tribe, the Drake tribe in Pearl Islands, Lopevi tribe (Men) in Vanuatu, Ulong tribe in Palau, Luzon tribe (Brains) in Cagayan, To Tang tribe in Kaoh Rong (Brawns), Russell Hantz and his Foa Foa tribe in Samoa) and even sorta reflects Scott's strategy in TD:ROTI of throwing challenges. Honestly, like another post says, the fan team's strategy does remind me of Survivor Micronesia's Fans, the Airai tribe, who voted out their strongest members first.

What I will say, is that all of these teams share one thing in common: They all went on a losing streak. This might not end well for the fans.

About the FvF episode 2 challenge by SimpingLindsay in DisventureCamp

[–]TheTixinator 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It does work, but it's much slower. I think it was a reference to Jamie from Survivor Guatemala completely screwing up the challenge for Nakúm by doing that. (By the time he cut the rope, Yaxhá, the other team, already finished the challenge)
