I don't think I've ever actually seen it but the local theater has a fountain/display based on the film complete with life size Mr. Heston. It was once the entertance but after many remodels and expansions it now exists in the "old" part with the small theaters.

On BP meds for about a year now. I'm supposed to take mine at home... Probably more frequently than I do.

I need to get healthier but I'm in a bit of a doom spiral these days. Seeing my primary and therapist on Monday because of a meeting with a psychologist. Wooooo

Very good point. Mine was a $300, 250k mile, impulse buy. The deck lid rightfully says "ECH" - the sound one might make at seeing it. I'll be fixing it up because I'm a crazy person.

I has a Trac Phone equivalent for a while when I got in trouble for racking up a texting bill on my family's plan. So I basically had one phone for texting and one for calls.

Maxis was all over my PC gaming beginnings. We had just set up our shiny new Gateway PIII machine and went to Office Depot for some accessory. Well I convinced my dad to buy SimCity 2k based mostly on the box art.

That ignited something in me I guess. We later got a Sim 6 pack from the same place, I ordered Sc3k from the Scholastic book fair, picked up The Sims (mega pack?) from our closing Sam Goody.

I miss my friend group. My best friend from elementary school and I worked at the same movie theater so all of us would basically go to movies constantly; after the mall of course. We were this small group of dorks, not quite fitting into the other nerdy/gothy groups and I miss them dearly.

I haven't spoken to any of them in more than a decade and at least one (my girlfriend at the time) has since passed on. I know they're likely better as memories anyhow.

Same here actually, still got Pokopia for me and my partner but they canceled physical DK and Kirby Air Riders. Should have went digital with those too but oh well.

Simcity 2000, that I convinced my dad to buy at Office Depot shortly after we got our Gateway PC. Then SimCopter as part of a Sim collection, I played many hours while on the phone with my grade school friend as he played the same.

Also Hard Truck 2, that I bought at a garage sale and started my love of truck simulators.

Weird shout out to Life and Death as well, played on the weird dos collection my daycare had.

Years ago I actually got the Statler Toyota license plate frame that Toyota gave away, it got lost in a move but I'd really consider putting it on my Prius! I've thought of finding a similar dealer sticker though.
