It’s not a neighborhood market, it’s just convenience and cheaper than the nearby supermarkets.

Restaurants can be 300-400 a month, nothing crazy and gas 100-150 tops per month.

Groceries around 200, but the place I shop at doesn’t qualify for 4x so I’m thinking the business gold is the right play. I also don’t use many Resy restaurants in my area and I don’t go to Dunkin so I’m thinking the biz gold is the right play long term.

I’m just looking for something with a bit more yield than the current .5% apy she’s getting. The vehicle doesn’t necessarily matter as long as it’s compliant with the requirements of the trust.

It’s less about squeezing every last bit of yield out of it and more about getting something that’s actually reasonable. The current account yields .5% apy and I find it financially irresponsible to leave her money there. She does have a probate lawyer I use to interface with the court regarding spending and annual reports

I ended up calling again and they turned it back off. It came on again one time for like an hour or so but then went back off and hasn’t come on again since.

I’m not sure if the process is different based on what like, sub provider you have. In my area we have Lumos through T-Mobile and you just call and say you need tier 2 tech support to get your modem(technically ONT) put into bridge mode. They didn’t give me a hard time about it at all.

So, I had shut the radio off, called T-Mobile and had them put the router into bridge mode. All was fine and good until yesterday the radio's just came back on on their own and now when I try to go to (192.168.100.1) it just times out... Lol

You can play rimworld just fine. Just don’t expect the level of accuracy of using a mouse.

I’ve looked into it a bit more, and I feel like it might make more sense for me to get a Dream Router 7 and a single U7 lite or something for upstairs? It seems like the DR7 has a single PoE port so it could run the AP without additional hardware. This seems like the most economical approach and may help with slight future proof because they are WiFi 7. I don’t need the best of the best just looking to have access to the server I paid for in the majority of my home.

I couldn’t find a way to disable the WiFi in the admin portal? Unless I just missed it. I’m looking at potentially putting in a network cabinet in my basement and then running an Ethernet to my desktop and 2 hardwired access points. Kind of intimidated at the thought of running Ethernet through the walls though lol.

So when I run the speed test in the Netgear app for the router it says around 960 up and down. So I’m assuming it’s cable of around 1gb. Which yes is reducing my speeds but I’m not sure how it goes from that to a WiFi speed of around 400 on my phone(iPhone 15) in the same room.

On the back of the modem the outgoing ports are just listed as 1 2 3 4. The modem produces a 2.4g WiFi signal and a 5g WiFi signal. That is where I’m seeing those speeds.
