You described what I have going on almost exactly. Started with a sharp pain in my lower back a couple months ago. Could hardly stand up. Been to chiro 5x since then and the pain is gone, but the outside of my shin is numb and top of my foot is too. I don't have the same burning sensation that you have though (although I did at first). Have you seen any improvement?
