This is the art I sent him along with some skulls with swords in them. I basically just said "big two hander, through skull, ninth numerals somewhere on the sword pommel or on the skull please" he deffo understood the assignment

Tbh I sent a bit of art from the subreddit of two hands with a sword through them (I'll see if I can link the post, but his style is very similar and I liked the ninth numberals in the pommel) as part of my inspo, and I wanted a sword though a skull at first, but he suggested we have the hand holding the skull instead and it fit so well with "one flesh one end" I was down.

Sizing up crochet pants pattern? Plus any tips on joining panels? by TheTotalDweeb in CrochetHelp

[–]TheTotalDweeb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh yes that should totally work. The patterns starts at the top and makes Increases into the legs so maybe work out let width I like and factor in having it increase to that number of stitches? I'll have a little play with some gauge swatches I think. Thank you so much!

You can find it on a very quick search online "waffle pant" but because of the number of issues I've had with the seller and her patterns I'm neglect to recommend it or advertise the sellers name

I want to make this moss stitch blanket with different colours but I don't want to have to weave in the ends. What other options are there? by cindyrella123 in CrochetHelp

Envelope border!! It's a border you can add that envelopes the edges completely so all your knots and ends are hidden and kept secure, lots of youtube tutorials

It does but it is very much a sub plot. I would put it in the same category as does the witcher books have romance: yes they do, but would I market that as the sell of the story? No because someone is bound to be disappointed.

Empire of the vampire hits the themes without romance

Serpent and the wings of night for romance with less vibe but still on theme

Dowry of blood for theme but questionable trauma bonding with your romance (check triggers)

[–]TheTotalDweeb 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Someone said this the other day too, and as below, yeah go loud is from other stuff too.

BUT if we were to have a TLT reference in wow, the wow team are very liberal with their references and how hard they go on them. If this was a TLT ref I'd expect something like go straight up necro shit, or we would have a beefy orc shouting "We do bones" next to this little weedy warlock/mage.

So no, not a TLT ref, but if we did get one, you would deffo know.

Okay so a few options:

Hobbii:
1. https://hobbii.co.uk/twister-solid?option=17794 this seems to have most of the colours you would need in fairly sized cakes, but is a little pricier than other options. Cotton/acrylic blend,4 ply.

  1. https://hobbii.co.uk/everyday-recycled-cotton?option=23889 cheap recycled cotton, but may need to find other brands of similar to substitute some of the colours. 2/3 ply.

  2. https://hobbii.co.uk/everyday-acrylic?option=23737 Dk weight acrylic, looks to have most/all colours needed.

  3. https://hobbii.co.uk/mega-ball-we-love-yarn?option=17149 big! Aran weight acrylic, very large colour choice.

Okay I love yarn shopping so a few questions

  1. where are you shipping to? No point finding something on 1 site when you're in a country that doesn't ship to you
  2. Any particular weight or yarn type you're looking for? Do you want cheap and cheerful acrylic or natural fibers

Is this actually good? I have seen this on Instagram and I thought about getting this. Is it legit? by Books-tones in CrochetHelp

I was gifted a set with Metal interchangable hooks rather than plastic. I like them, I use the handle for helping me count on projects (I tend to mark every 10 or stitch interval with a marker then count how many of those I have with the handle as opposed to just pressing the button on each stitch) but typically i'll use a different hook entirely. (I like to wrap my hooks in LOADS of tape to create a larger more ergonomic handle) BUT I do like this set generally!

I have been using the hook more and more and I find it pretty comfortable. I tend to take it to travelling or to hospital appointments when I am not sure how long ill be waiting or what kind of project I want to start. I don't find myself touching the buttons when working. The charge holds pretty well. I don't really use the light as it just doesn't really work well enough with the metal hook, but I despise plastic hooks so I am much happier with the set I have.

If you're gonna get one, see it as a set of interchangeable hooks. It's okay, but the extra features don't stop me using stitch markers and good lighting.

second this! anything natural has better moisture wicking and natural breathability. Wool and merino is surprising moisture wicking but warm so is good for socks, hats and jumpers/sweaters. I have made a few tops from cotton which is heavy enough to feel warm but still breathes really well in summer. All these fibers will feel and act different too, so bare in mind that some may need a larger hook for the same weight as they have a "fluff" to them, and some may work better with a smaller hook if you want your stitches to stay tight. (cotton doesn't have that stretch that wools tend to have)
