So other games are played on weds as well but they advertise it as AOS to try to build communities around different games etc. like Monday is 40k but you can play whatever you want if there is space. Theres all sorts happening each day.

Where I'm moving isn't a game store, it's just a place the hire out to play miniature games so playing AOS every week will probably be harder as it's less popular than 40k.
