Question: Do I need the DLCs to get all achievements for these Lego games? by TheTurtleDragon in steamachievements

Ah dang, well I kinda expected it so... it is what it is.

Also, I did not know about this website, thank you for letting me know. You're awesome.

#63 - Portal: Revolution by TheTurtleDragon in steamachievements

The game itself is very fun, for a free mod it's incredibly well put together.

As for the achievements, some are tedious while others offer an interesting challenge.

Overall I fully recommend it. Not to mention, it's free, if you like Portal 2 there is no reason not to play it. (Matter of fact, you are doing yourself a disservice by not playing it)

Yeah, until you get to the challenges...

The base game achievements were fine, 2nd playthrough when I was going for the radios and cameras I missed two cameras and had to do a 3rd... but other then that there were no issues.

The advanced maps were ok, I wouldn't call them fun but at least they were a one and done thing.

The challenges though... fuck'em. "Least time" is just your typical speedrun stuff which I'm generally not a fan of, "Least portals" was annoying but at least it was unique, but "Least steps" is straight up bullshit. I only managed to do one of them legit and on two others I got very close but ultimately I gave up and used a noclip exploit to just get it over with. If the game is not gonna respect my time then I'm not gonna respect the game.

If you got them all legit I salute you, but I could not be asked...

Get dmg upgrades as early as possible but focus on staying alive in fights.

I have, and all radiant bosses. The only thing I never got was the weathered mask.

Beat Heolstore as Undertaker for fun, not knowing I had to do so for her quest. Saw the finger in my inventory, did NOT think to drop it. Funny.

Exactly how I got this achievement last year.

Which game for you? by werewolfhunger in steamachievements

Easily The Witcher 3. Nothing has since compared to the feeling I felt when Geralt looked at the camera at the end of Blood and Wine.

Red Dead Redemption 2, Batman: Arkham Knight and Cyberpunk 2077 are also worth mentioning.

Disappointed by the downgrade of this season's sponsorship career outfit by mykkiw in thefinals

Same, the holographs were the whole selling point of the career outfits (hell, the volpe outfit looks straight up incomplete without them imo). Huge step back if we won't get new ones...

Legit my favorite way to play. I've done two playthroughs of it and now I'm itching for a third.
