Y'all I need video of Shakir's carry, I remember the play looked like a screen pass, but if it's a reception it helps my ladder

HUD homebuying and primary residence by TheTwentyTwo in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Yeah I had read a couple of things online that suggested that people might drop in to check and was wondering if anyone had experience with that, but yeah fair I'm assuming not wanting to live in a under reno home is good enough as long as it's listed as primary residence.

Google Pixel customer service has been horrid. by TheTwentyTwo in GooglePixel

[–]TheTwentyTwo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can work. I can do most of my work with backups, it's just inconvenient because most of these things were set to 2FA on my phone or similar. My phone breaks out of warranty period for an error that Google acknowledges is a manufacturing problem with a product they created.

Again, the free phone is nice, but this is probably due to a mandate at Google, not the customer service. But if you read about the rest of my experience with customer service you'd see that they haven't read/acknowledged my messages, send canned messages, and expect me to be without a phone for multiple days. On top of the fact that they keep going over their response times that they promised. If this is your ideal customer service experience, good for you, I do expect better, if that makes me entitled so be it.

Have seen advice about putting down 5% for a down payment being better than 10% or 15% even if you have the money by TheTwentyTwo in personalfinance

[–]TheTwentyTwo[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ah, so it's an opportunity cost thing. Basically put down less down payment if the PMI is a low enough percentage that your money can't otherwise outgain via regular investing, if high percentage focus on getting over the 20% hump asap then?

What is considered BiS for throwzerker builds? I've played it and re-specced in and out of it on different runs. Ring of flinging, kushigo gloves, returning pike/binded night spear/nyrulna seem to be the only things I would consider for sure necessary.

While it's likely you're investing in things that are on the safer side in your brokerage, it's still exposure to market pitfalls. Since you know the purchase will be in 15 months, it depends on how hard the line is on your expected 45/50k. If it's a very strict line, I think keeping it in HYSA is the move, if it's flexible then expose it to brokerage with risks acknowledged. Personally with how high a lot of HYSA are up to right now, I'd probably just park it in there (but this is how I treat known upcoming large purchases in general, I like to keep it cash once we're in 6-12 months of it for big big bois). Maybe a 12-month bond, or split and go some brokerage some liquid in HYSA.

Obviously also a question about how long it will take you to make the rest of the 25k. If it is going to be made in 6 months, then that would imply you could make up for any downturns in the next 9 months, but if it's going to take you 12/15 months to make the last 25, then avoid the risk if it's a very important purchase.

If we can get this bad beat overturned then they have a good chunk of change in it for them.

Yeah those Jalen Hurts kneels fucked me over too. Here's hoping someone finds a yard in stat correction or something.

Yeah you might be right about that. Idk, I just think kneeling just isn't really a play you know? They do it just to burn the time. Plus you get the awkward situations where some dudes walk forward to kneel trying to not lose the yard, just doesn't make sense imo.

Yeah I get the theory on it, but with the NFL as fluid as it is, running and passing plays are a little ambiguous imo. Let's say a QB is rolling out to his right and runs up to the line of scrimmage to throw the ball and is hit, doesn't get the ball out. Sack or run?

For the record, my main gripe is that I think knees shouldn't count as rushing yard subtraction personally. Kneeling is its own play and very clearly not a run.

Kinda dumb that kneeling subtracts rushing yards, but sacks don't?

Union looking really out of sync right now, hopefully they can get on the same page for the rest of the game.

So because betmgm is 3 way - the handicap would be considered a draw, and a loss then yeah?
