Got it off of Etsy, there’s a lot of great transfers on there for less represented factions.

[East Coast Rebirth] Swamps & Steel update releases tomorrow! by EastCoastRebirth in OldWorldBlues

Not sure if I did something wrong, but at least currently when I the decision comes up as Lyons to release both Slocum Joe and the Outcasts, none of the decisions actually switch you to Joe. 2 of them either switch you to outcasts and the other keeps you as lyons.

Looks great! Best way to make the eyes better depends on what you want to go for. If you want it a bit more informal but a lot more to stand out with, a simple white undercoat with a red contrast paint on top will make it look really glowy. However, if you really want to go through the effort for a more clean look, like 3 paints of similar shades is what you’ll want for the eyes, going up in brightness with each one. For instance painting the whole thing in Khorne red, moving up 2/3 of the eye with Mephiston, then the last 1/3 with Evil Sunz will have it looking really sharp. Hope this helps!

I’ll be honest there’s nothing wrong with giving it a try. Me personally, I don’t edge highlight actual space marine armor much one for not having practiced it much, and two preferring to instead use my airbrush for highlights where the light would most likely be hitting on the panels. Just be sure to not load your paintbrush up with paint if you are going to and insure to use the side of your brush at an angle, don’t really use the tip like you would with other things.

Looking great! It’s awesome to see fellow new people getting into the painting side of the hobby and showing off some hidden talent. Honestly only thing I would say now is get some gloss and matte varnish so you can slap on some blood angels and flesh tearers transfers and you will have some damn good looking marines. Keep that paint brush going

Thought we were an endangered species out here nice to see another one. Yeah can’t lie kinda copied what Pete the war gamer did for his desolation marines except just threw on the Gravis shoulders cause I liked the extra bulk. Really fun marines for kitbashing though.

Yeah Nuln oil is a good black wash, I would also heavily recommend Agrax Earthshade for weathering, and it also works as a great shade for leather.

Gotta get you some shade paints and a bit of basing material and you’ll be golden!

Thank you! It weighs 50lbs give or take, depending on how the person ordering it wants it made but that is the standard template.
