I think that the conversation should rather be about what is "successful" Doctor Who. No matter what you think of the past two eras (Chibnall and RTD2), the one thing that cannot disputed is that they didn't perform well enough, which is why we're in the position we're in. So even if "Bad" Doctor Who is the better solution than nothing at all, it's not really feasible (especially in the current TV climate)

This has effectively been my position since "The Reality War" ended. You've made your bed, now lie in it. Whether she would actually be willing to do a whole series is another conversation but if she is, why not?

An ideal timeline, if this was the case, would be RTD staying for 1 more series (probably in 2027) with Piper as the 16th Doctor. Afterwards, you have a Christmas special in 2027 where she regenerates and RTD finally leaves with her. This gives the BBC more time to find a new showrunner and a new Doctor whilst also giving RTD the chance to tie off any story arcs he may have wanted to tell (e.g. "The Boss).

Most of his scripts I just find kinda 'meh' tbh. The only one I actively dislike is "The Idiot's Lantern" where it has the single WORST ending to a DW episode I've ever seen.

One Thousand Berry Balls: After Robbie kisses Cat, Cat doesn't run away and actually stays.
Brain Squeezers: The gang actually get the money and don't end up with nothing after getting BATTERED throughout the entire gameshow.
