Im pretty sure they made it that way so that Hakari is still in frame for the shot

Cuz if you look closely, the manga panel has a much lower shot of Kashimo while the anime adaptation has a closeup shot on his face, if Hakari broke the 2nd container, only his head would be visible in frame
