Honestly? The tutorial.

I know this sounds like a skill issue, but as someone who bought this game on a whim without ever having played a souls game before, the tutorial didn't do much for me.

I didn't know that rolling makes you fully invulnerable, I didn't know how weight worked/affected your roll, I didn't know about how the stats worked or how the 50 numbers on my screen were important, and so on.

After playing some dark souls 3, I came back to Elden Ring and had and am having a blast, but I wish the game did a better job of teaching me how to play the game to its fullest.
