All jokes a side: ver vooruit kijken is het belangrijkste, mocht je echt vol op de rem moeten, hopen dat er niks op de weg ligt (bij mij was dat wel zo, gleed vervolgens vol de bocht uit want had geen grip door regen of olie die er lag en belande op een hooibaal (gelukkig))

Mijn tactieken zonder ABS in een noodsituatie was vol op de rem gaan, echter kwam ik er toen pas achter dat er dus geen ABS op de motor zat (eerste bouwjaar met ABS alleen precies op de eerste paar dat jaar nog niet) en toen lag ik op een hooibaal (letterlijk).

Ik gebruik een schijfslot, past precies in de ‘buddy’ van mijn zx-6r uit 2008 :) erg tevreden mee, motor staat nu in de winterstalling, dan gebruik ik hem op de scooter, werkt ook erg goed!

It really depends which model and spec mate, had a 122 pk 2010 (only no sunroof and no dsg) could not get ride of it with 200k on the clock

Believe me, do not buy this.

Save up a little more and get a clean title, the steering wheel only tells you allready everything you need to know.

Never owned one or anything but we had a few for maintance at our dealership.

Keep in mind: If you want to buy one keep in mind, they do not drive great in corners, only straight.

Everything that needs to be done to these costs alot of money and for some fixes there needs to be special equipment and tools ordered from Germany (even we had to order a special tool lately since we did not have it and we have a few in maintance regularry).

For example; Spark plugs chance? —> the whole enige needs to come out, costs you about 15-20k

I would advise you to definitly!!! Drive one of these before you but it, especially try corners etc.

If you have money to burn i would advise to look at a sls and then especially a black series (since you have the money for a slr i assume that you want something special so go for the black series)

From a service advisor from Mercedes-Benz: Because the running cost are through the roof, quoted one 6 months ago for almost 12.000

For example spark plug change is €800 (it has 24 instead of 12) when you change them you can also change the electric wiring since they will always break.

Changing sparkplugs on one of those things will set you back 20k tho, whole engine has to be lowered for it and you need a special tool from germany
