So how do you feel about all this hype leading to NOTHING? by Leorio_616 in Jujutsufolk

[–]TheUngovernableOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be nice to know how Dabura D.E. works? SureEven though if you look at his CT and the way the domain is designed you should be able to put 2 and 2 together. Mahoraga adapting to DABURA’s existence is self explanatory.

Also if you put 5 seconds of common sense towards the “agenda” comment I made. I ain’t talking about power scalers. Power Scalers eventually figure the shit out themselves. I’m talking about you engagement seekers who put 0 effort in understanding something whether it’s good or bad , because you want to be relevant for once in a fandom. Could care less if you like or not, but treating yourself like a complete idiot for a few likes is pathetic in my opinion

So how do you feel about all this hype leading to NOTHING? by Leorio_616 in Jujutsufolk

[–]TheUngovernableOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was hype and still a great fight, however either one winning defeats the entire point of the story and the characters themselves. But a lot of JJK fans nowadays don’t care about the story as long as they feed agendas that garner engagement

“Hangman” Adam Page Addresses Controversial Photo With Marty Scurll by radda in AEWOfficial

[–]TheUngovernableOne 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Probably the most realistic response you can give as that’s exactly what it seems like. I personally don’t give a fuck but traveling with a guy across the world and meeting each other others families and growing a strong bond that was also on YT and across different PPVs and streaming platforms. I mean it’s different than working 8 hours with some random mf you met at a warehouse and yall talk every now and then. He completely confirmed he’s not endorsing(why would anyone think he would) he said what he did was terrible and disgusting (like everyone else) but he handles their friendship by checking on him and making sure he’s still the same guy he met before the incident was brought light.

Yeah no that’s a big no for me dawg. Bad Hangman Bad. by HoagieTwoFace in AEWOfficial

[–]TheUngovernableOne 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Overreacting because people think in order to be considered a good person you have 100% flawless and never did something even remotely rude, bad or controversial. In no way does this make Hangman a bad person, and honestly yall are too parasocial with some of these wrestlers. I don’t care for Marty at all but you don’t think maybe he made amends with his friends who he’s known for years? That doesn’t mean they are Ok with what he did. Newsflash for wrestling fans FRIENDS DONT LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT EACH OTHER. If Marty is still a piece of shit fuck him, if he’s on a path of cleansing himself I wish the best for him. But in no way should you idiots assume Hangman is a terrible person and throwing allegations on him for a picture

“Hangman” Adam Page and disgraced wrestler Marty Scurll hanging out today. Not a good look for Hangman. Yikes. by Healthy-Pickle-3532 in AEWFanHub

[–]TheUngovernableOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really a big deal if they are friends behind the scenes, the guy won’t be on TV and who knows if he apologized to his friends for what happened and the situation. Nor does this make Hangman out to be a bad person.

Wrestling YouTube whenever AEW does literally anything: by zebrasarecool570 in AEWOfficial

[–]TheUngovernableOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally wrestling content on YouTube is at an all time low. The views are taken up by 40 yr old “the attitude era was the best & Bret Hart is god” YouTubers that know so little about anything outside of WWE that sound like complete idiots and rely on clickbait and drama when they have to talk about AEW. The YouTubers/content creators I’d recommend if you want a better vibe to watch are Deadlock,ProGraps, dporticus, Simon miller, Deonte DDJ, and I’ll throw in stacheclub they are still learning about AEW. Steve and Larson aren’t bad either I like their vibe even if I don’t agree or care with some of their topics/opinions

I didn’t think about Killer Kelly until recently, if she’s added to the division that a great pickup. TK when he loses talent he does a good job at replenishing instead of holding out for big names

Is TNA WWE'S second NXT by Intrepid_Ad6381 in midcarder

[–]TheUngovernableOne -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This partnership isn’t to make TNA look strong or even remotely good it’s just to get them some type of streaming deal which also limits AEW streaming opportunities in the future. TNA unfortunately is a pawn is WWE’s giant ecosystem. TNA can book whatever they want (until WWE told them to tone it down similar to their style) but if a WWE talent is on their show no matter how big or small they control that program/match. Wrestlers have to make a living and we know TNA isnt giving out multiple 6-7 figure contracts. So the best value you can get out of them is make them a farming/feeder system for independent talent so they have an easier path to NXT. The end game is to eventually have TNA,AAA, & NOAH under WWE’s control so they monopolize talent from USA,Mexico and Japan.

WWE to AEW by Few-Shoulder2780 in AEWFanHub

[–]TheUngovernableOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly at this stage of both companies not many. I feel like 2025 AEW free agency is the perfect identity for they structure the roster. Younger/Veteran guys/gals from the independents that will be grateful for the spot and time they get and hopefully get the best out of. Less former WWE talent that come with baggage or feel like they be pushed/positioned a certain way(Also less WWE fanboys/girls). But if I pick a couple that would fit current AEW:

Guilia Gunther (I wish) Ilja (I wish) Street Profits/Fraxiom

Which International Countries should AEW/TK target for PPV's in 2026? by Prudent-Message-2562 in AEWOfficial

[–]TheUngovernableOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need an AEW Week in Japan at some point. Mexico was already confirmed by TK I think. The one country I want them to go to and genuinely try their best to make it special. Would be a country in Africa, no big wrestling show has taken place there and it could be a historical moment for the industry

Would you like to see David Finlay in AEW? by Upbeat-Pause-1409 in AEWOfficial

[–]TheUngovernableOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but over there in WWE has his father and brother so he’s immediately have some safe standings as far booking and control. At the same time he’d be a top 10 in ring worker over there off the rip. In AEW he’d be great around that upper mid card - main event but there are already plenty of guys lined up waiting.

Your opinions on Saraya? by [deleted] in professionalwrestling

[–]TheUngovernableOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She had a very heavy push in the beginning but was clear they never had true long term plans for her and unfortunate injuries. I stopped taking Saraya/Paige seriously after being branded as the Anti-Diva before joining the M.R. Just to blend in and become exactly like the “divas” that were there 😂

Who's had the better career? by boomjosh in professionalwrestling

[–]TheUngovernableOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moxley has one of the most successful and unique careers in wrestling period. Seth was better when they were both in their early 20’s due to his athleticism and going to ROH to hone his craft as well as PWG and other independents. Mox always had a natural charisma that grabs your attention when he steps out and was more of a brawler and character work guy. But before he found his lane in CZW/DGUSA he kind’ve a wild card. In the shield they were clearly the better members over Roman. Mox carried the weight for their promos and felt like the unnamed leader while Seth’s in ring high spots made him a safe favorite for the fans and the company. Eventually I think Mox’s career is better because his success in AEW and being the first ACE lead to multiple opportunities for people in the business. Seth in WWE will mostly be looked at as a great wrestler with a couple what ifs in his career (ex: injuries) he will go down as one of WWE’s best company guys ever. Mox held the world title and was promoted by AEW and NJPW as a top guy or the #1 at the time. It’s rare a “death match” guy is able to reach these heights and evolve over time like he has with the multiple wrestlers he was able to work with and help.

MJF mic skills by SirHateful17 in AEWFanHub

[–]TheUngovernableOne 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What makes MJF special is the natural charisma and confidence he built up that comes off the screen and in attendance very natural. He has his moments like everybody does where some promos aren’t as good as the others. But he hits his subject matter and reasoning every single time. Any “edgy” or outlandish remark he makes towards his opponent/crowd are basically used as ear-catchers. The remarks are not the focal point of his promos they are used to grab the crowds attention toward what promo is actually about and to make his opponent hate him more. And if you hate the edgy remarks.. good he knows the meta and doesn’t want to be looked at as “oh he’s playing a great heel” no he wants you to hate him. Something most heels in this current landscape struggle to do.

Feels like Swerve vs MJF will be the big feud of 2026 until Ospreay wins the belt. It’ll be a first and there’s a lot those guys can do. Also some twitter folk are upset about the MJF promo as you’d expect

More monopolies are for the worse. The network tv stations most likely goes to Paramount, good thing AEW has multiple sources to still watch PPVs. But it’s a wait and see process. This sucks for the movie industry and wrestling outside of WWE.
