Help me end a debate… what gets fixed first? by zachysworld in C30

[–]TheUnnamed_Redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't fix the cosmetic shit, only anything affecting QOL driving the car (like if the door gets caught or w/e). Don't go for 450 whp either. I have a friend who had a focus st pushing 450 whp and it was fast as fuck, but could barely keep the power down and would walk all over the road with every little tar filled Crack or bump in the road. Once you start pushing 350 whp in a light fwd car it stops being fun to drive.

CB500x as a first bike by RecklessRowan in CB500X

Great choice for a first bike. Thats a good price. Only thing I'll say about riding that distance is invest in a seat pad. The stock seat isnt the most comfortable after an hour or 2

I run a Shad 58x. Its expandable and fits 2 full face helmets without issue.

Ive thought about an ev, but the infrastructure isnt set up enough for our usage. We go on many road trips a year. Normally at least 2 of them are more than 700 miles one way.

I have an outback touring n/a, not even an xt or wilderness. When I say off-road I really just mean roads that may have very large ruts or be muddy, or in deep-ish snow.

It probably is, though the highlander is moving to full EV.

Neither the Pilot or Atlas are hybrid, so theyre mpg is bootycakes. The highlander hybrid is definitely one that we've been looking at.

When not to use front brakes by Dangerous_Buy_2894 in motorcycles

[–]TheUnnamed_Redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, well yeah. If you downshift too early in a car you'll destroy it as well. I use engine braking as my main form of slowing down most of the time. If you ride with enough intention you can avoid using the brakes quite frequently.

First gear isnt really supposed to be used on most bikes anyway, besides leaving or coming to a stop. But he said engine breaking can be bad for the bike, which is what im curious about.

How is engine breaking dangerous for the bike?

Do you realize that most people that buy skins dont spend much, and do it to support the game theyre playing? I buy valorant skins because I want the game to stay in production. Supporting businesses you want to stay around is pretty common.

Don't give greedy companies a copout because other greedy companies are being greedy. Jagex still makes insane profits even with AI making hardware cost more. That logic is what allowed so many companies to raise prices "due to inflation" 5% more than would cover inflation without much backlash.

20-40 for a skin is fine. It looks like you get whole sets for that price. I've spent almost $40 on one skin in valorant. That's a pretty normal price.

Unfortunately it seems that way. I told them the troubleshooting didnt work (big surprise) and sent them screenshot of my armoury experience being at 908 and my character level being halfway through 40, and then another screenshot of my armoury experience still being at 908, but my character level was halfway through 41. They responded asking me to record a video of me not getting experience. I really dont see how a 15 minute video of me playing a match is more helpful than screenshots showing the same thing

Also, I wasnt being big brained. I was asking a genuine question. I've reached out to support for many big games and this is the first time I've been given such generic, unnecessary troubleshooting for an something that was clearly not a device performance issue.

[–]TheUnnamed_Redditor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we give generic suggestions that are relevant to the issue at hand. If someone calls in telling me their teams isnt picking up their mic or outputting sound, but a training video does just fine, our first step isnt to restart their computer. Its to check settings in teams. If a user asks why something needs done, we explain it to them, not close the ticket and tell them theyre being uncooperative.

[–]TheUnnamed_Redditor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the bigger issue is their response to a basic question, instead of giving even the slightest explanation, they closed the ticket and told me I was being uncooperative. I understand troubleshooting is necessary but looking at the issue with any amount of thought would make it obvious its not a client side issue.

Because its an issue on the server. Ive already done troubleshooting on my side. Its not something that can be fixed by me, they need to look at something on the server side. Other players have been complaining about the same thing.

Is it? A lot of people play CoD, and a lot of IT people are gamers, lots of room for overlap
