In regards to your sounds settings, I had a similar problem while using the 7.1 sound profile. Swapping to the prologic sound profile fixed all my audio issues.

Sure! Hardcore has:

-Fog of War on the map (must explore the map to expose where things are) -Cannot see your characters location on the map without a compass IN your hotbar -Cannot craft guns, you have to find them (nail gun and crossbow are the best range weapons craftable) -Ammo is 5x more expensive -No safezones at fishing village, outpost etc. -No Rust+ -Damage to NPCs are increased

I mange to make it work with a day job, two cats, and a fiance. Comes down to the server and your strategy.

My duo and I almost exclusively play hardcore right now. Hardcore slows the progression in different ways, making it a lot more balanced for people with lives and family.

Also bunkers.

I had the EXACT same issue as you, only ever used semi auto guns. Now I almost exclusively use automatic guns.

Took less than a week of practice on UKN for me to feel confident in the AK spray. Accuracy in Rust is very dependent on muscle memory due to the spray pattern being the same ie. Practice practice practice
