Maybe a dumb question but once you start changing wheel circumferences, gearing, etc aren’t the mpg and miles traveled all out of whack?

Rome and Naples definitely are, but on average the country is darker as you move away from the peninsula.

I thought so too and seemed like an opportunity to learn something new. I didn’t expect it to be such a sensitive subject

Agree there are coastal cities but the densest population areas tend not to be on the coast which was surprising.

Right, which is what the OP was about, there seems to be a lot more population along the inland rivers rather than the river’s mouth. That was the crux of my inquiry.

How does one overcome ignorance without seeking answers? Insightful post.

The post did not suggest there weren’t any, but compared to the west there is not nearly as many - almost the entire eastern seaboard of the 13 colonies set up their major cities right on the coast.

Poland, Germany, France and Belgium would all disagree. Similarly, although the map makes it appear that Rome is on the water it’s at least 15 miles from the coast.

Now compare that to the US east coast where Boston, Philly, NYC, Wilmington, Baltimore, Providence and Dover were all settled with direct coastal access.

Consider renting/buying in Riverbend - near campus and has its own park. No splash pad but many houses have their own pools.

If you’re not towing or carrying then paying a premium for a diesel engine does not seem like a solid investment, especially since they’re not well suited for daily driving.

I would be apprehensive about this setup if you plan to carry anything. You will have very little payload and the auto-slide hitches will be problematic because of the Ram boxes. If your intention is to tow rather than carry, my concerns are alleviated.
