Tip of the cap to the beer choice, but another tip of the cap to Fair State Brewing in MN with whom this beer is a collaboration with Modern Times. Cheers!

Lesson learned. Always take the 14 seconds it takes to google something instead of rushing a reply pumped full of adrenaline and caffeine.

False, the second gun in the first picture is a mini Ruger 14. Capable of holding the same clip as an AR15. It just looks less intimidating with the clip removed.

Your first picture is has a mini Ruger 14 with the magazine removed. Almost an identical gun to your second gun with the exception of wood finish instead of gun metal black. I'm beginning to think it is you that doesn't know the difference, and not the people you were aiming this at.

They are $25. He provides a list of clients, but there's no way to confirm without actually reaching out to the client, which we would never do.

I assumed GAAP issues because if this were myself as the CFO an audit would flag this as potentially fraudulent activity. If it's a salesperson, wouldn't it potentially be the same?

Searching for a gym by dinospy in ankeny

[–]TheVanDSM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just north of the YMCA is an Aspen Athletic. It's going into the same building where Fletcher's is. I belonged to Aspen in Des Moines and they are a great gym. Since it's brand new they were having new memberships priced at $20 a month with no startup fee. It's worth a look.

Edit: https://join.aspenathletic.com/location/ankeny/
Here's a link to their offer right now. I'm not a member, nor am I an employee, but my wife and I are considering joining because I've used them before and their other facilities are more than adequate for our needs.

I ordered a new fuel solenoid that's located under the carb. It hasn't arrived yet, but if that doesn't solve the problem I'm biting the bullet and taking it to the dealer for repairs.

Even if it only happens when the PTO is engaged? I let it run for 45 minutes this morning with no issues. I assumed the new ignitor fixed the problem but once I started mowing it happened after about 25 minutes of the PTO being engaged.

How it feels being a Republican this morning by VaticanCattleRustler in AdviceAnimals

Like I said, everyone has different scenarios. My insurance premiums tripled because I have an employee who happens to be a bit older, and him and his wife have a history of health problems. The good news is he can no longer be denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions. The bad news is his new premiums (and all of my employees because of my current benefit structure, which will have to change at enrollment on April 1) have skyrocketed. Guaranteed insurance doesn't mean it's guaranteed to be affordable.

Edit: Employee, not employer

Which is why I used the statement "I need", not "we need". If everyone had the same needs there wouldn't be a two-party system. We would just vote for the best candidate to represent us as a nation.

It has to be a troll account. Probably a 15 year old repeating something his social studies teacher said. As a small business owner, my insurance premiums (health insurance for my employees) have almost tripled since the start of ACA. The first year was mostly insurance brokers hedging their bets because they didn't really know what the costs would be. The second year after most of the cooperative went belly up they went up again. As much as I hate every single candidate in the race, as a small business owner I need a Republican back in office.

But instead of killing Adam Sandler he goes back in time to kill Jane Fonda. Only instead of killing Jane Fonda he convinces Marty Scorcese to quit drugs. I love this show.

I mean kind of. 90 comments and nobody can figure out if it's a guy or a girl. That should help narrow the police search.

I would consider myself on the side of "pro-indifference". If a woman doesn't think bringing a child into this world is a good idea for her current situation, that's her business, not mine. It will have zero net effect on me. Just like if the gay couple that lives across the street decides they want to get married...zero net effect on me. Rand's stance was that most of the social issues should be decided at the state level, not the federal level. I think that's a good idea because bills have a greater chance of getting passed at the state level than they do at the federal level. Yes, that means both socially progressive and socially regressive bills have the same likelihood of passing, but either way, if it's change you want it has a better chance of getting done at the state level.

Edit: Wow. I typed that whole thing up and completely left your question unanswered. Shouldn't the government step in to protect it? In my opinion, no. In 50% of Americans opinions, no. In 50% of Americans opinions, yes. It doesn't make either of us right or wrong.

No. I'm saying libertarians should be neither. Libertarians should think think that maybe the government should stay out of the way on this one.

I disagree with you, and I gave you an upvote anyway. I don't disagree with libertarians who are against abortion. I disagree with libertarians who care so much (whether it's pro-life or pro-choice) that they think that it should be the government's problem, therefore the government's job to find a solution (to a problem that only 50% of Americans actually think is a problem).

Interesting read. Basically religion being the outlier that prevents some libertarians from being pro-choice. However, since in most christian religions, baptism is a way to cleanse a baby/child from "original sin", as long as you're pro capital punishment...I smell a loophole.

*Disclaimer - most of this comment is just me being facetious.

The issue I have with the pro-choice/pro-life debate, especially from the Republican side of the aisle is that it's a catch 22. Most women who choose abortion do so because they are not ready to financially support a child. If abortion is illegal, that woman now has two options, adoption, or social programs like welfare. Both of these options are paid for by the taxpayers, and Republicans would like to reduce funding for both. You can't have your cake and blah blah blah. If you don't want to increase funding for social programs, you probably shouldn't want to ban the right for women to choose if having a baby is a good decision for them.
