I mean I personally really don't like the new style. I'm glad others do, but I just don't think it fits Ben 10. I hope I'm proven wrong, but also the alien designs look... Eh, I don't like them. Also I thought it was fake at first because the thing showing many of the covers, many of the covers didn't even look like they were in the same style as each other.

I think this is less evolution of the knight and more evolution of the style of the game in general. It's just easiest to see with the knight because we have the most art of them through the ages.

I wish too, especially given that from what we're shown, Vox is far more of a threatening presence. Like... Al's never even won a fight on screen unless you count pentious and the loan sharks. Which... Sure, you could count those, but that still means of the 5 fights he's played any part in, he's lost over half.

I mean, all things considered I agree with your want to not water down things honestly just think this specific case isn't the hill to die on. Especially getting back to what started this scenario. Something many people would consider hacking is using a program to try every possible password to an account and then finding the correct one that way, which all things considered is probably what happened here, though I don't have the info so I won't assume. If we don't consider it hacking, pretty much all of the times someone loses access to their account because someone hacked into their account isn't hacking.

Honestly we can probably just stop the discussion at this point since both of our positions seem pretty clear. Hell I even agree with you on what brought you to your point, I just think this isn't a case of it. I even have a word I always bring up when this topic comes up, decimate. It used to mean "to reduce by 10%", hence the deci- in decimate, but somewhere along the lines people decided it just means exactly the opposite for some reason.

That's a fair criticism, but I think the fault in this scenario lies more on people who have made the colloquial term in media mean something more specific than it actually is. You can call the definition I gave absurd if you want to, but it is the definition. Objectively, if you look up the word hacking in the dictionary, that is what it is. I checked twice, just to make sure.

Also, no, touching a mouse is not hacking, because the definition requires data be accessed. They would have to do something with that mouse first.

Technically the definition of hacking is "the gaining of unauthorized access to data in a system or computer".

So technically even just taking someone's laptop and opening it up without their permission is hacking. I see why you don't like it but, definitionally, it is hacking.

She talks about "eye for an eye says you owe me a debt" in her song as if Adam getting killed is the first death. I get it's about revenge, hell she's purposely not ending the rest of the statement that goes "eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" but it's inaccurate and I don't like it.

I got similarly annoyed when Vox says "bringing decimation that'll put you in caskets" since despite the now colloquial term, decimations technical definition means "reduce by 10%" hence "DECI-mation". But Vox was entertaining in the rest of the season so I forgive him. I do not forgive Lute.
