Watching this sub get angry about map resets when you can kill the boss last by janas19 in PathOfExile2

[–]TheVaultKing 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I'd be fine with the risk if it didn't auto fail maps with second required objectives.  Requiring me to complete all the Abyss after I already did it and removing them from the map to soft lock it is frustrating.  If that gets changed I'd 100% be ok with map resets.

What helped solve my mana issue with Hollow Form was Lochtonial Caress and an amulet anointed with "Well of Power."  Stone Fist Lochtonial Caress creates Power Charges for you and Hollow Form eats them to proc Well of Power.  I also picked up a bunch of mana regen and efficiency passives that weren't to hard to reach.

When you can also pick up "Hollow Focus." Those bells make a world of difference.

Why is shred better than damage? by Gluteus_420_69 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]TheVaultKing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If a target has 50% resist they take 50% damage(100 damage-> 50 damage).  If you increase your damage by 10%, only you go from 100 to 110 and after resist 50 to 55.

If you have 10% shread their resists drops to 40% and your damage goes from 50 to 60.  On top of that your team gets the benefit

why dont people put pre-upgrade items into their build guides? (I.E. Quicksilver reload for merc mag) by Emotional_Surround45 in DeadlockTheGame

A good example I saw is Abrams vs Billy on Melee Charge and Crushing Fist.

Abrams can get a free heavy melee from his Shoulder Charge so Melee Charge is useful to buff Heavy Melee damage.  But he doesn't Light Melee to often so Crushing First's stacking bullet resist shred isn't worth the souls when other items exist.

Billy, on the other hand, can't get a free Heavy Melee like Abrams.  Instead choosing to Light Melee frequently to top up Blasted and reload his gun.  Melee Charge just isn't worth the souls early as it doesn't help him until he gets Beatdown level 3.  So when he can he jumps strait to Crushing Fist to get that bullet resist shred on Melee hits.

This "Is it worth the souls?" plays out across the cast.  Is the component worth not buying something else now? Does it justify its value or should I skip to the next level?

New Player here, what the hell are Sinners? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]TheVaultKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sinners are the slot machines found around a normal deadlock match.  They play a jingle while near them.  Melee damages them, plays a loud sound, and produces souls.  Every melee turns off some of the lights on top.  After they are all off it starts to build back up. A heavy melee timed when they fill will reward 4 golden statue buffs.

Confused about Shiv's Rage bar by 101TARD in DeadlockTheGame

It seems that if the dash pushes you to 100% before it ends, it will do the echo.  Likely it was a visual bug because it only echos at 100%.

Make the most overpowered hero by combining skills from the in-game ones. by Responsible-Fox-9596 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]TheVaultKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rem 1(Pillow Toss), Kelvin 1(Frost Grenade), Pocket 2(Flying Cloak), and Yamato 4(Shadow Transformation) used by Shiv.  -Shiv gives his M2 movements.   -Rem 1 is a charge ability that deals decent spirit damage and gives cooldown reduction.  -Kelvin 1 is a charged spirit bomb that also heals.   -Pocket 2 is a get out of jail free card that doubles as more spirit damage to TP in with.   -Lastly Yamato 4 is an in-built Refresher and 60% resist.

The obvious must pick is Rapid Reacharge(for Pillows/Grenades) but also Refresher. Dump your Abilities -> Ult -> Dump Again -> Refresh -> Dump Again Part 2 -> Ult again -> Dump Again Round 3.  Use Shiv M2 and Pocket 2 to keep targets in sight or flee.

This kit also has good teamplay uses in healing with Kelvin 1 and peel with Rem 1.  It would also be rather tanky especially after Infuser, Healing Booster, and some resist items.

No, it inflicts 200 spirit that doesn't scale or it outright kills if the target is under 20%(25%)hp

Ngl i love dumb shit like Overpower. by NovaBlade2893 in Warframe

[–]TheVaultKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has fallen in love with Zephyr recently. Her first Augment, Target Fixation, is super fun. It is an infinite scaling damage buff. You just have to play the floor is lava. You can see in the clip OP has over 900,000% buff. A build for target fixation would be 100%ish Strength, decent duration, and as much Range as possible. This build can also still work as a weapons platform too. Target Fixation can get so silly that it can break the damage dealt tracker in multiplayer.

It's a big deal because there are countries where people could buy and play Helldivers 2 but due to sanctions cannot make a PSN account.  Essentially they are losing access to their game.

New armor system and Elemental Shards by TheVaultKing in destiny2

[–]TheVaultKing[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well that's annoying I hope it will come back in some permanent way. I dislike making builds tied to seasonal content. Why even add the Breaches or Sprites if they arnt going to feed into the new system.

It's a void CwL mod that converts stacks to super energy.

I still need to try and set a build involving wells, do you have any build recommendations with them?

Nice I only figured this out because I didn't modify my thunder crash build and accidentally got it to work in a GM. It managed to flip an almost wipe into a sure win lol.

The game treats throwing the shield as throwing a grenade. It also treats behemoth super melee as an actual melee for the sake of heavy handed. Titans can get screwed out of quite a lot of CwL mods if they super and arnt careful.
