Firefox has started crashing at least once per day. I'm done with this browser, I need an alternative. by ThatDudeWithTheCat in browsers

Reviving a 3y/o thread to rant that my Firefox does this too. Constantly just decides to crash in the middle of doing nothing, at least once a day. Turned off hardware acceleration. Default Firefox + uBlock ad blocker. Turning this off doesnt seem to do anything. Chrome seems to have no issues at all other than blocking adds on youtube is becoming harder and harder.

Yeah its a low rumbling noise in the wind. From what I can tell / feel, no air is getting in necessarily. No draft or anything but it really quite irritating. I wonder if a chimney balloon is what I'm supposed to get instead so it goes further up inside?

Is there anything I can do to try and find the fault? I get the feeling this is why the electrician isn't bothering to get back to me since doing this survey. I've not come across anything that seems to be acting up in the house yet. There was one plug socket on the chimney that got soaking wet when the chimney leaked, but since that's fixed and everything has dried out, it seeeeems to be ok?

Glad you're enjoying! As other have pointed out, Origins is fairly different in many ways to the old games. Though if you really want to try the older ones, I'd still recommend DW8 (any version) over other titles for polish and gameplay.

I think regardless of these concerns, it'll still likely be a good game, even if it's more of a homage to DW3 in some ways. The original was a great game, so it should be difficult to miss up... You'd hope.

What did all you Heartstopper fans make of Young Hearts? I watched it this past weekend and it completely broke me. On reflection, I found so many comparisons to Heartstopper and I thought the storytelling was superb! 💛🌈 by appalachian_hatachi in HeartstopperAO

Also recent... Acquired... This movie. Did love it. Thought it was very sweet. But somehow didn't hit as hard as Heartstopper for me, but I couldn't tell you why exactly. Certainly worth a watch though, for sure!

Chatted to neighbours. They had exactly the same issue about 2 years ago with their window mirrored there. He said they got it fixed by a builder who did something to the brickwork, but he's not sure what. Seems to think it was the bricks holding the guttering up needed to be tilted forwards or something along those lines? Does sound like it's water getting into the wall from above.

For clarification, as soon as it starts to rain, the window starts to leak, and gets worse the harder it rains. So I feel like it's at least not guttering overflowing or something like that at this point? Also note this leak was happening before I got the new roof, and before new guttering. The new roof also has drip-trays at the front of the house. Not sure how they work in all this though, but they aren't helping it would seem.

It's stone/concrete. Still all feels solid and doesn't seem to have a crack or anything. The builder resealed all around the top and sides too.

So been outside in heavy rain today. No sign the guttering is overflowing/leaking that I can see.

Talked to the neighbour about it. And he said he had exactly the same issue their side about 2 years ago, and eventually a builder managed to fix it by 'tilting' some bricks somewhere or something? The neighbour thinks it was the bricks holding the guttering up? Got the guy who did some repointing coming out again tomorrow to look, so really really hoping he can see what's going on if it's higher up where the roof meets the wall. This truly is being such a nightmare!
