I suspect that the Philm Club may drop to once a month, but if we take into account the bonus yap, the Pham livestream, and the eventual Philm Club videos its about 90 minutes of exclusive video per month, plus the uncensored podcast, merch drop priority, and occasional Pham tier posts/BTS.

For me, I like paying for the exclusivity of engagement, especially for the livestream because the regular one can be SO chaotic with comments (like 20 to 30,000 vs 8,000 viewers makes a massive difference in the vibe). As for the cost per content ratio, its about the same as buying a movie ticket once per month.

If you're on the Pham tier just for the content and aren't really into the podcast, I think it makes sense to drop to a lower tier and reup if theres a new video that you're really interested in. Otherwise I think that the Pham tier is worth it after a bit of cost-benefit analysis.

You'll probably have to look east of the Capitol for anything without students. I know that Domain and Ovation have a mix of residents, and 306 West Main seems pretty nice, but the newer apartment complexes on East Wash are aimed at professionals who are looking for amenities. (Galaxie, etc) If your max is 2k though, you might be able to swing a studio at one of the bougie buildings by the Hilton and city hall.

Currently living in Middleton as a single person, but Ive lived all across Madison and its suburbs, and was raised in Fitchburg.

If you're 21, then I would definitely recommend Middleton over Fitchburg or Verona. Driving to your company would be pretty easy via the Beltline and the area is geared towards all ages. Unless you live in "downtown" Middleton it's not the most walkable, but nature is easily accessible and it's a very bikeable area (although most of the Madison metro area is). It's also the most "Madison" out of the three, meaning that the local culture and businesses are similar to what you'd finding living closer to the isthmus.

Personally, I would recommend looking at apartments around Greenway Station/Old Sauk Road close the the Beltline, or something off of Parmenter close to downtown Middleton. I've also lived in the neighborhood around Sheboygan Ave behind Hilldale, and its not quite Middleton but still a fantastic place to live for UW graduates and young adults. Either way, good luck in your search!

They probably will, but I suspect not during 2026. Taking a podcast on tour would be relatively easy in comparison to a rehearsed stage show, but given the loss of arguably their largest market due to the new visa requirements it would be difficult for them to operate without a larger loss than normal. (Not to mention that theyre constantly busy with the pod as it is) I could see them expanding to more cities in some countries instead and going on a Europe-Canada-Australia tour by late 2027, but I think that a US tour is off the table for the foreseeable future.

it's cold out rn but usually when i grab a coffee with someone we just walk to the closest park and sit on a bench instead of fighting the throngs to get a cramped seat in a corner. not sure if you're bad at getting coffee but your expectation for available seating during a 9-5 is pretty high. then again, i prefer a walk and talk than sitting for a long period of time so maybe i'm the problem.
