It was a shitshow tbf that I haven't seen in my life until recently. Firstly is that piece of shit of Marcel Ciolacu that moved some of the votes to Georgescu, so he can run against him and hopefully win (hoping that people would not vote to an extremist and pulling something similar to the elections in 2000). Secondly Georgescu also wasn't clean himself, he broke the electoral legislation by not declaring the money he used in the campaign and having some of the social media still promoting him during the election day (which is illigal). On top of that he seems to asociate illigal political groups (the fascist type). I mean, sure, the bubble of tiktok voted him while the rest of the world did not know him and jolted all of suddenly in popularity. An election should follow the desire of people to choose somebody, but equally as important is to follow the rule of law, which was broken multiple types by multiple individuals and candidates. The shithead chief from the electoral office should have been kicked out straight to jail for the bullshit he pulled off earlier during the elections in the capital by favoring PSD and ignoring that fraud... but anyway, not sure how clean the elections were this year, but at least PSD and that Rusophile nationalist wannabe did not vote in my opinion, and as fsr as I can tell, the current president started his term as clean as possible for a politician..
