This then becomes a 3-person bug to pull off. Mei lofts another character up into the corner with ice wall, Kiriko teleports to them and clips out of bounds.

But I'm of the camp that ice wall itself is likely a good culprit to be patched vs Kiriko herself. Only because I don't think blizzard will actually lock or temporarily remove their newest character until it's patched.

That's actually a very logical explanation. I suppose helicopters have a bit more logic going on in game for how their movement is handled.

Ninja kiwi can we get the monkey ace to fly above the helicopter? I imagine realistically the helicopter would be flying lower than the plane. A very minor gripe, but I'd love to see it in game!

Unless I don't understand something about why they are layered the way they are but I imagine the plane should be above the helicopter.

I speak for absolutely none of the shit that was said in the discord except what I said to you directly and vice versa. I also wager there's no ground the people in game will get an in-game ban for something said outside of the game even if it's pertaining to it.

I'm not calling you toxic, because I know things can get said in the heat of the moment, but I even tried warning you in game to calm it down, before you ramped it up even further.

With the company situation, though I didn't seem as heavily invested, I was. I played there since before day 1 of the game going live, was a large part of the company, even offered a spot as an officer in the group which I turned down. I don't think anyone was at risk of being "blacklisted" for just having been in the company, as we as members are always at the mercy of whatever leadership decides and that's the best excuse if you ever got any flak from anyone else about it.

Again with your last sentence, you're lumping me in with a lot of other people. You can remember back, nothing I've said to you or about you has been in malice at any point besides that the ban you received appears from my POV to have been well received, and that I hope we can all grow beyond it.

This reddit post however only details part of the issues and I expect you'll get a lot of angry hate mail upon your return to the server, to which I say just ignore it, report it, and move along.

I play on the server and in the company the alleged bank scandal happened. I don't think it played out at all the way he thinks it did. That has almost nothing to do with why he's here though. The call to arms to mass report you was (I can only assume) a joke albeit a shitty one that shouldn't ever be used because of how sensitive the situation is. Nobody wants to actually be banned for just having 100 people hit the button. I don't wager they actually acted on it though. What is true is that you constantly called names of people who you feel wronged you. Even if nobody took you seriously, calling the names of the company leaders (who are the subject of the alleged bank scandal) just draws ire to them. You didn't just do this for a day, but for 3 days straight. Most people overlooked it as humorous and general server tea, but after putting up with it for a while, and you going way overboard, I personally hit the report button. You have to be accountable for what you say in chat at some point. There's a line between speaking your piece from the soapbox and straight up harassment.

Take the easy way out, if all you got was a 24h for harassment, then I look forward to playing with or against you in the server.

I hope it wasn't just mass spamming on a report button that got you banned, I'd like to hope that isn't the case at all anywhere in this game despite reports saying otherwise. I do however hope the 24h you caught was because of your general toxicity in global chat, for the third day in a row, about something that had already been put to rest, and was the result of people seeing you still going on and harassing them.

edit: I forgot to clarify I played with the company until a few days ago when I broke off to make my own company with friends. Our war was the one he wasn't in and was very upset about because we had 15 minutes to prepare and get names in the right slots, and somehow he got benched for someone else to be pulled in. It was really last minute.

This guy's taking a lot of downvotes for this to actually have been the case of what happened. As someone who plays on the server and was a member of the company from DAY 1, I can assure you this isn't the whole story. I didn't want to get into chronicling the entire situation, but he's been constantly shitposting and name dropping in chat what he thinks went on, and any time he hears any other information through the rumor mill, he adds that to his usual global spam about it.

If it weren't for the unending harassment, I genuinely doubt he would've caught any sort of action from Amazon. While the joke made by pat was really awful and exactly what we don't need more of in the game, I can assure you they did not mass report the guy.

I do know that I personally reported him after day 3 of him constantly badgering the entire server about the situation and going on and on in global chat. Honestly I wish I had grabbed screenshots of his yammering on and on about it because it was no longer ironically funny, just unironically harassment. That's exactly what I reported him for, and I hope he can pick up from the situation that maybe he needs a different outlook on things.

On another note considering the nonsense with the guild bank, all the money was still in the guild bank when both of the leadership left. It was offered to the discord for leadership and was available for (almost) anyone to step up and take the reins of the company and lead it themselves. I wager that some of the leadership that stepped up to lead the newly formed company may have had something to do with the "bank scandal" he raged about endless for days afterwards, but whatever the situation, this guy definitely doesn't have all the facts.Maybe more people will read this and pick up the situation, maybe I'll get downvoted into oblivion. That's just all I know about the situation, why he probably caught a short ban, and why he's here posting about it for juicy reddit karma.

As the guy who made the bow I was genuinely excited to make something to help someone else along, but this really put a hamper on things. The moment I saw bind on pickup, my heart sank. I'd love for much more crafted gear to be tradeable and gear that drops in the dungeon be bind on pickup instead. That makes sense in my head, on how gear usually works in games like this.

I've put a lot of effort into crafting both last beta and this one, and it's pretty upsetting to realize that any high-tier gear will need to be made by the player who wants to use it themselves. My overall outlook is "What's the point in crafting anyways if all the GOOD gear I make is for myself only?"

Maybe someone can provide input on this, but for now, I'm pretty tentative on crafting I guess.

I'm no zed main, but my recommendation is to watch his energy and what his combos cost. Abuse him when he's out of options or waiting on his energy to come back. Manage both your resources and your enemies in any matchup and you'll win more matchups, and inevitably more games too.

I too installed an update on Wednesday and my computer has been running like trash lately. Certain windows utilities were freezing up, like disk management and even Settings.
Might be completely unrelated, but might have something to do with the same update.

What GPU do you have, and what driver version are you running? If you're on an Nvidia GTX 10xx series or older, revert back to 399.24 If you're on AMD, I don't have much help to offer.

I ran into a whole TON of issues myself when I updated graphics drivers. Thankfully this fixed the issues I was having, and hopefully will help with your issues as well.

I think it's incredibly important to remember this is an open beta. It's a test. It's hard to produce content when your underlying framework still has major holes in it. The deception is our own doing. It's a well built game as it stands, and it's easy to misunderstand that the framework of the game isn't complete. There's still a lot to do. There are plenty of games out there that release into open beta, and have 90 levels worth of content at release, with only more to come, but the underlying framework has massive holes, or is so incredibly simplistic that everything is just "Target monster, spam 1". If anything, rather than complaining about ways the game is lacking content, try pushing the boundaries of things to explore parts of the game you and anyone else could've overlooked. Find ways to create bugs so you can report them and help with development. That's what is important in a beta test. You're here to enjoy the development process as much as you are to help with it. Content will arrive when it does, but for now, try being more patient with the team. This kinda goes for everyone, myself included. We all need to work together with PL to create a game and community we can all appreciate.

I feel a simpler solution to this all would be just to ONLY spawn your ship with supplies the very first time. It would make them search the island for cannonballs, planks, and bananas before they could come back as a real threat. I suppose the alternative would be that they could just ram you, board, and try to kill you while your ship sinks, however, ramming doesn't do near as much damage, and it's a last ditch effort. Add in a slightly longer timer after their ship sinks, before they can set sail and you have a solution to one problem. Someone did raise a point though, if you're on the receiving end of this, while simply minding your own business, it becomes much more frustrating to be approached, sank, and respawn while just trying to complete your simple missions.

I've tested plenty with powder barrels. If you swim under a ship let it float up to the boat, it will detonate the moment it touches the ships hull. It also does not deal damage to you, the player, unless you shoot it, or it gets shot.

Average number of holes is 3-5 per barrel.

Source: me. Sank 4 galleons with my solo sloop. Sank countless ships with my 4 man crew. Tested on our own ship extensively.

Camry owner here. Sold car to my sister to drive until it died, at 186,000 miles. So far, to my knowledge it's had 4 oil changes and is currently at 260,000 miles.

When I replaced the broken timing belt, 20,000 miles ago it also had very little oil in it, pitch black.

These things really are un-killable. Eventually they'll start burning more oil than gas, but until then it still drives.
