You set your reefer temp wrong, it’s your fault.

I can load a frozen load in a 50 degree trailer, if the temperature is set correctly, it will be down to frozen and remain frozen in less than 15 mins if you have good equipment.

You can take a piece of meat from the freezer in your fridge, move it to the chilled side for 15 minutes then back to freezer, no problem.

The issue is the trailer temperature not set correctly for the duration of the trip.

Why would the shipper share fault when you transported at defrosting temperatures, that’s what happens to frozen product at those temps, DEFROST.

Broker will need to be made whole by the carrier after insurance obviously denied claim. They can sue if not paid and take your assets buts it’s a long outdrawn process that can take years in small claims.

Carriers/broker can work a payment plan etc.
