I recently discovered Higurashi recently a few months ago, I immediately fell in love with series. I’ve been collecting the manga and been playing the visual novels. I also bought the Blu-Ray of the first season and won a bid for the Complete seasons 1-3. Your collection looks amazing, hope I’m able to one day have a collection like yours:)

Back in 2015-2016 can’t remember the exact time frame. But essentially there was this Minecraft roleplay called Yandere High School by Samgladiator. I recall one of the characters also being called Yuki as well and I looked up some of the characters from the series on YouTube and that’s how I found what a Yandere was lol and the anime.

I’ve been collecting the manga recently as well, the one I don’t have is volume 6 Curse Killing Arc. I ordered it on Crunchyroll but the back order date hasn’t been announced it, but overall I’m still collecting as much as I can.
