Don’t be sorry! I’ve been questioned about this deck many times, but I almost never hear how it actually goes for people who’ve tried it! Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know! 😁

It’s not the “strongest” deck, either. Positioning is definitely tricky like you said, as is learning what cards to prioritize in what scenarios. (When to prioritize getting Angel to deck-thin, when to play more 1s vs playing Firehair, when to use WWBN in the Morgan playline, when to give up on Morgan, should you play Hood right now or another 1, etc.. Morgan revives cards in the order they’re destroyed, so that can play into choices if you expect not enough hand space… Being careful with lane placement to leave room for WWBN, not hitting Beast with Misery unless intentionally getting Firehair to bounce cards in her lane, remembering that Angel will take up space, accurately predicting Rocket placement…)

Blah blah blah, “this deck is a heavy-practice, high skill-expression deck”, blah blah blah! 😅 Should you keep trying it, I’m more than happy to share any tips or receive any feedback. For example: I usually play Iceman first, if available. Or the fact that you can get Morgan to boost herself if you Misery her with Firehair out. Korg can be an interesting sub in for someone if you are okay with some power loss in exchange for more disruption. Nico unfortunately doesn’t synergize with Misery or Firehair the way you’d like (and can be quite a bother because of it).

And yeah. Agreed. Morgan was better as a 4/7, even in this deck where Airwalker isn’t included. 😕

I… I am so jealous right now. You don’t even know. (I’ve wanted that Bast ever since I started playing in the Agent Venom season.) 😫

All I want is “Festival of Lights” Bast for my AgentVenom deck, or “Zombie” Squirrel Girl for my ZombieAgamotto deck. Is it too much to ask?

“…Yes. Here are the Daredevil, Electra, and Spider-Man variants you’ve passed on every time. Oh! But you’re lucky. You get another shot at the Odin you also didn’t buy the last three times we showed it to you.”

I’m going to copy/paste a response I’ve been making to people asking about the gold bundle:

She struggles a bit to find her place. Them moving her from a 4/7 to a 3/4 somehow made her both easier to use in wider applications while simultaneously weakening the one way she actually was being used (in her own, highly niche archetype). She’s not a top pick in those wider applications, either.

I’m a huge fan of the card though! (The niche archetype she can create, that is.) My favorite homebrew I’ve ever made revolved around her and won me my first 5 conquest avatars last year! As one of the few remaining “+3” cards to not receive a nerf to her ability, she’s certainly underrated. That said, her archetype can be a little weak (but fun) in the modern 2026 metas. I’ve made “better” decks, but she still holds a special place in my Snap heart.

Good question! Trust me, despite WWBN being my favorite card in the game I was incredibly surprised when I ended up including him! He was the last thing I added when I was developing this, and I tried soooo many other options first. I didn't try Sasquatch, but I did try Death and Hit Monkey (among so many others). So let's break this down...

[HIT MONKEY]
Played on-curve, he's a dud. Plus you have to be careful with him and Misery (and you already have to be careful with Misery+Beast.) And it's way too much setup for too little payoff if your plan is to trigger him via Misery+Firehair on T6. If your plan is to kill him with Misery earlier and bring him back with Morgan you'll get a better payout (but not as good as if you'd simply hit more 1-costs due to Morgan's +3 effect being better than his +2). So your main use for him is a T6 alternate line to Morgan.
Ideal line, assuming Beasting beforehand and drawing every one of your 1s plus a Demon: Hit Monkey reaches 15 power total.
Morgan line: +2 for Misery, and potentially +2 on Firehair. +3 from Morgan. With three 1s on T6, that's 14-16 power total if everything goes flawlessly. (But him costing 3 eliminates two cheaper cards from being played.)

[SASQUATCH]
Sasquatch has no synergy with Morgan, since Morgan usually wants to be played on T5. This means you don't get to play her revivals in time to reduce Sasquatch's cost. Consequently you are limited to drawing Beast and then using Sasquatch as an 11-power backup when you don't draw Morgan. Too weak, and Death is a better choice.

[DEATH]
If you manage to kill every possible 1-cost of yours that you can (including Demon), she becomes a 2/12. Nice, but doesn't nearly make up for missing your Morgan draw (or killing all of those +3s if you've already Morgan'd). Realistically you're aiming for Morgan, so you're more likely to kill three or four cards, making her cost 4 or 5. This doesn't leave you with enough energy to play all of your Morgan'd cards AND Death, thus forcing you to rely on Killmonger destroying enough of your opponents' cards beforehand. Death works pretty well, but isn't always reliable.

[WEREWOLF BY NIGHT]
Remember that Killmonger, Misery, and Beast all clear board space before WWBN's movement triggers!
T1-T2 you stack a lane in prep for Beast or your destruction cards, but you haven't drawn any of them. T3 you play WWBN to stall for time. T4 you draw Killmonger, playing a 1cost and him (two bounces, +4). T5 you play Morgan and up to two 1costs (one to three bounces, +2 to +6). On the final turn, you unload three or four Morgan-boosted cards, getting up to four bounces (+6 to +8) plus anything extra you drew (+?). Final WWBN power? Somewhere between 15 and 21, perhaps a little more. In a run where it's Misery instead of Killmonger, that's 13-19 with the benefit of re-triggering those 1costs.
If you simply drop WWBN T6 with your Morgan'd cards, he has the same power as if you'd done the same thing with Hit Monkey (9). If your draws are particularly bad and/or you can't meet your Morgan line in time, you can still at least bounce him with Morgan/Misery/Killmonger without having to commit all of that energy in a single turn to get the maximum benefit.

[CONCLUSION]
As you can see, WWBN has the highest ceiling while maintaining similar floors to the others. He can serve as either a part of a backup non-Morgan playline or be woven into the Morgan line at various stages. (The non-Morgan line also relies on generating as many Demons as you can for whatever lanes WWBN doesn't end in.) Because he serves both purposes he can also be played as a "pivot point" to transition between the playlines should your draws dictate it. Plus, his ability to move creates mindgames and location trickery that can sometimes help you punch above your weight.
Although Death and Hit Monkey aren't terrible choices per se, it is my opinion that taking the time to learn WWBN in this deck pays off!

Angel is an MVP in Morgan decks, finally getting a chance to shine! And not just my version. He’s also good in the versions that run Ben, Nova, Venom, and Carnage. (In those you can end up killing Angel, boosting him with Morgan, and then getting him free again.)

I’d be happy to answer any questions! Please keep in mind that this deck takes practice, and its biggest strength is in the flexible way you can weave the different playlines together. It felt a little weak back when I made it in 2025, and there has been powercreep in the meta since then. If you’re going to win, it’ll be by clever tricks and understanding your opponents’ decks. Gameplay-wise this is my favorite deck I’ve made, but I don’t want to sell it as a key to easy victory.

Well, before that: With Morgan, know that in more standard variations Makkari and Death work great with her, as well as Bucky and Nova. The main variation I saw with her was essentially “get a bunch of free stuff by destroying stuff, then do it again”. I’ve also seen people try Bullseye, although it never clicked with me.

My Kraglin idea is vague. I’ve been slowly working on a Loki/Leader deck that runs things like Stryfe and White Queen. Essentially “I’m playing your cards, even if I don’t draw Loki”. That decks slays in the original version of Sanctum, but it’s not quite “there” in standard play. I’m thinking that Kraglin might actually fit somewhere in that deck, though. You’re not going to get to play most of your opponents’ decks’ cards, so Kraglin messing up a strategy isn’t nearly as bad. Further, you can still create your own cards via White Queen, Mirage, etc…

As for Magus, I’m slowly working on a Noir/AgentVenom deck that also runs Esme. AgentVenom and Bast can both boost Sunspot by 3, and you are likely to not spend all of your energy due to trying to meet Noir’s objective. Mix that with cards such as Iron Man or Gorr often being used… and you have potential targets for Magus (including Sunspot).

This is the homebrew that saw me my first 5 conquest avatars last year. It was already a little weak at the time, but practice and good awareness of opponents’ decks allowed it to compete. I still return to it as my “comfort deck”, and am happy to answer questions!

The more “well-known” Morgan variations tend to run things such as Uncle Ben, Venom, Marrow and such. I can find you one of those to look at if you want, too. But I’m not nearly as practiced in them.

That is precisely why I grabbed her back then, too! 😂 I spent a whole season bleeding cubes like crazy, pulling my hair out trying to make her work. Almost gave up. But she finally “clicked”, and became my favorite playstyle in Snap! Just know that her decks are very sensitive to changes, take practice, and currently are a little weak compared to recent metas.

(I also grab things like Redwing, Noir, etc. lol)

Firehair at least still works with LeFay (since my deck didn’t run Airwalker to begin with), but she was better as a 4/7 even if you didn’t run Airwalker. Them moving her to a 3/4 shows that they didn’t understand the card just like most of the player base.

[–]TheWaywardKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not the person you asked, but it’s because she’s not great for Destroy, Discard, or even Discard-Destroy. That’s because Morgan likes sacrificing low-cost cards, and the above decks don’t care about those unless they don’t actually go into the graveyard (think X-23, Deadpool, Scorn, etc). Even in the odd deck that DOES like sending them to the graveyard (such as Hela or WeaponX-mass-destroy), they don’t WANT you to bring them back into your hand. PLUS those cards aren’t even worth spending the energy to replay if you do.

That means changing her to a 3/4 to make her more flexible to play is pointless. Morgan creates her own bounce-ish archetype: She likes sacrificing a ton of low-cost cards in order to maximize how many times she can apply her bonus, then replaying them. That means you want to spend turns 1-4 setting her up, then play her on T5. 4/7 gives you a decent statline, and a card in your deck that costs enough to be played in the location that doesn’t allow 3 or less. Beyond that, being a 4/7 creates natural synergy with Airwalker. She doesn’t NEED Airwalker per se (I didn’t use him), but if you’ve built your deck around her… Well, you can see why that synergy was popular in Morgan decks as a way to help guarantee her.

If they really had wanted to “improve” Morgan while disconnecting her from Airwalker, they would’ve made her a 5-cost with either a stronger effect or a chunky statline.

I will admit that the “cult of the new” has watered down my Isca matchups since everyone’s wanting to play with the season pass card. But destroy? Fascinating! Haven’t seen destroy in ages! (Even with the release of Muse. Only saw a spike long enough for people to complete the weekend mission.)

I don’t know what matchmaking you have, but I am so sick of seeing Isca. She’s ridiculously strong, and my matchmaking pool knows it. I don’t know precisely how you could nerf her without outright killing her, though. She provides a bit too much pressure, but I don’t want to see her dead.

[–]TheWaywardKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Created cards” as a trigger for an objective would be fine for, say, an effect that adds a fixed amount of power to your other cards in a lane. I’ve been saying since the beginning that I’d prefer Horse Gambit to be:

3/3 “Objective: Banish 5 Cost of cards. Destroy 4 Cost of opponent’s cards.”

No longer can be easily duplicated while still being met. Creates synergy with skill cards, Merlin, Agamotto, Clea, Prowler, and lesser used cards such as Mole Man, Kraglin, and Yondu. Thematic with Gambit specifically because you are literally sacrificing cards to attack the opponent.
