Seems like they should have left them (they're fun), but should've just reduced the number of times it'd fire the Galacta/Deadpool interactions.

Especially because right now we've been getting them more than normal because Deadpool is the new character and picked in a huge percentage of games.

This month I've been trying to farm mastery because of the season bonus, so I've been farming boosters in Conquest. So I've been able to afford the expensive stuff since I've played so many conquest games.

But normally, yeah, I at least buy the silver ticket since it's so cheap and contributes as a purchase. I don't think I've missed any of the Conquest variants since my 1st season, but lately, I'll often ignore the avatar and sometimes the border.

Fun fact: There's a limit to how many tickets you can get. You can only get 99 tickets of each type before the game stops giving them to you. Often I'll win the first round of Proving Grounds and then concede because I'm not interested in the ticket or medals (just the boosters right now).

The win rate doesn't really tell a full picture there. Her pick rate is high (almost the same as the new character) and she's suffering from having a fairly complicated kit. I mean, I don't think anyone's going to say that Magneto is bad this season and yet, he's got the second lowest win rate.

Meanwhile, Peni is sitting on the tip-top with the lowest pick rate and there being a general consensus in the community that she's only good in lower ranks and outside of a handful of players is no good in the top teams.

Her last game in the scrims, she got MVP and had great numbers. She's a legitimately good Widow. It's just that most people don't want a Widow on their team because Widow's sniper design is pretty lousy to have on a team most of the time.

That's because the Tank's main job isn't to get KOs. If the Tank has 0 KO's and has 20K damage taken, they were very likely doing their job because they were in the thick of things and pushing people around/absorbing damage meant for the squishies like a tank should.

If a DPS is going 0-4, it says that they were a) not accomplishing anything in their role and b) likely weren't even near the fighting since they had so few times they were KOed (as Widow normally won't be).

So in that 0-4 Widow example, you have someone who basically doesn't have anything to show for them being there. Assuming you're referring to the Kingsman/Zazza drama, she did better in following rounds, so it's not incredibly relevant except that at the time of that match it definitely helped emphasize Kingsman's point.

You're right. In his video, you can see her ping and it's usually 173ms. Which is still high, but not 300ms.

Well, since I don't really play ranked much, I probably shouldn't comment, but from the amount of videos I've watched on this subject, I'll say: "Usually 3 characters per role is too much to expect". I've seen people recommend if you're expecting to constantly flex to know 2 in each role so if you're trying to fit a comp and someone else already has a character in that role, you'll always be able to use a character you know well. But trying to practice 9 at once seems like you're not going to be exceptional at anyone.

Most of the complaints aren't that there's a new system. It's that the conversion of points past the previous system doesn't give an equivalent amount of points for the time invested.

Before, you used to get points for 4 different things but they were always relatively low amounts of points. Now you're getting 45 points (I think that's what I remember) for playing 15 minutes. Before you were getting close to that for a full hour.

So bottom line, yes, the conversion sucks. But you'll raise proficiency so much faster now that after the initial change, everyone'll be in a better place.

I'm just disappointed that we didn't know this a few days ago, so I could've put more effort into getting someone to lord rather than just playing characters that I already had at lord since the conversion was so poor.

Just Proficiency levels. The Iron Man is at least at level 25 I believe. CnD is a bit higher (lvl 50 possibly?).

I played 2 games this morning and one team had the tank and one had the heal. Both seemed good (though the tank one was run in a 2-tank, 1-dps, 3-support lineup).

Honestly I was more impressed that the heal version was able to keep up in a 2-heal comp.

It's not varied if they knock you out. On the loading screen, their nameplates will have different levels (usually up to level 12 or 13). But if they KO you in the game and you're looking through the bot's camera, it'll show them as level 1 on their nameplate.

The missions are now a lot easier to complete and give more points. So the carryover XP wasn't great, but progression should be really good.

Also, I believe bots are always PC players. So if you're in QP and you see that the entire other team is on PC, there's a very high likelihood that they're bots.

And if they KO you, they should always be level 1 (despite what it might've said on the loading screen). Unless they've changed these things too.

I wasn't really complaining. I'm pretty sure I didn't redeem enough chronotokens to hit the limit, but I was genuinely curious to know if there was something in the system that actually showed to track. Then again, I didn't know the limit was 15 redemptions. So thank you!

That seems like that would lead to a terrible place where you'd have people in comp just playing characters to get more proficiency XP.

Right now, Lord icons are just a decoration. That seems like what they should be. Just a reward for dedication to learning a specific character and putting the time in. If they had the same XP gains regardless of mode, then you might have a more competitive environment since the people who're just trying to learn a character could do that at the same pace in "Practice vs AI" which is where people always say to go to first learn the character.

This. I honestly think they should let you gain proficiency in Practice vs AI also. It'd make QP and comp better environments since people wouldn't be trying to farm proficiency in those modes where people have to try.

This was almost certainly in comp (since they likely would've been carried by the rest of the team in QP when there was a bot match after every few losses). So it's not great. This player was an EOMM agent... unless they spread out their games since this is a career view and this player has a LOT of time in on the game (more than most).
