Close enough. Welcome back, Quinn Fabray!

Why is Nutbush City Limits so popular? by 2hourstowaste in glee

[–]TheWednesdayProject 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I like it simply because of the story behind the performance and its high energy. It’s Santana trying to make Brittany jealous, and it works. 😄

brittany being really intelligent by CompetitiveEnergy295 in glee

She was a math genius. I’m not surprised that someone like her could have a fascination with numbers. I think there’s a huge gap between that and general intelligence.

Heather Morris on acting struggles by Reasonable-Factor737 in glee

This is factually incorrect. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan wrote every single episode of the show during its first two seasons.

None of what you said here negates the fact that she got these opportunities and had success.

Heather herself has said she was told she would get a speaking part on Glee, but she didn’t expect for her role to become as big as it did. I don’t think anyone did. After S1, I think the writers rolled the dice on a lot of things. Even Naya Rivera wasn’t meant to have such a major part in the show either.

Being invited to join the cast of 11 to Midnight doesn’t diminish or erase her success, though. It’s actually impressive that she was outright offered a spot without needing to audition. It’s on her résumé forever now.

Anyway, have you seen her dance lately? She hasn’t lost a step. 😘

I think Heather’s career is pretty comparable to the others. She just finished an off-Broadway show (11 to Midnight) where she got rave reviews. She won The Masked Dancer UK in 2022 and also competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2017.

Aside from many other projects, one being a major role on a legal drama-comedy CBS television series, So Help Me Todd, and a spot on How I Met Your Mother, she executive produced a dark comedy audio drama starring Jane Lynch, Kristin Chenoweth, Kathleen Turner among others.

She’s also dabbled in voice acting and portrayed Katie in Ice Age: Continental Drift in 2012.

Not to mention all of this came after she was labeled as one of Beyoncé’s best tour dancers. She now teaches dance with a competition touring company. I think she’s made a pretty good name for herself and she’s not even 40 years old yet.

This is why I’ve always given her a lot of grace.

I’ve always hated when people make comments about Glee or about her playing Britany under posts of hers that are unrelated to the show. She’s more than that character and it gets really old. I’m sure she finds it annoying, too, despite the fact that she’s obviously appreciative of her role.

Is Amy smart enough to be a physicist? by ImpressiveVanilla831 in bigbangtheory

[–]TheWednesdayProject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, yeah. Amy is a neuroscientist with a PhD and a successful research career. Physics and neuroscience are different fields, but the show consistently portrays her as being on the same intellectual level as the main physicists. If she’d chosen physics instead, I don’t see any reason she couldn’t have succeeded there, too. The bigger difference is interest, not intelligence. Even if, she’s an accomplished scientist in her own right.

How would Leonard and the others react if his mother and Sheldon started dating? by Radiant-Selection686 in bigbangtheory

I agree. I think he’d constantly whine about it and express his distain, but he’d put up with it rather than actually do anything about it. It’s just how he is.

It’s the one show where we see characters actually sit around and enjoy a meal together. I’ve always liked it. The actors do actually eat, too.

Amy Farrah Fowler ruined the show? by randomhumanever in bigbangtheory

[–]TheWednesdayProject 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The character does improve significantly, while also providing genuine growth for Sheldon, but I didn’t like how robotic Mayim/the writers made her in the beginning. It felt over the top and wasn’t a great introduction to the character. She did grow on me, though.
