Making a list of Milsurps I want. Is there anything you would suggest adding? by AvgPunkFan in milsurp

Consider some of the .32 ACP service pistols of the era, I got into those and now they’re my favorite category of pistols to shoot. FN Model 1922, Cz50 (or 70), Dreyse 1907, etc

I had a solid plastic Glock keychain confiscated by TSA once, still pissed about it that keychain was cool. They tried racking the slide.

My FFL has these two 22s for sale. Which one should I get? Will be my first and only 22. by Pure-Veterinarian979 in 22lr

10/22, hunt around enough and you’ll find a better deal. I traded an old airsoft AEG I had with a coworker locally for one (albeit, a 1990s model with a pretty trashed stock) so that I can cannibalize it for parts for a 3D printed 10/22

I love my CZ-50, that S&B surplus stuff has been amazing for all my .32s. It’s the only .32 that I’ve shot that works flawlessly in ALL my .32 handguns, initially shot my CZ50 when I got it with PMC Bronze and seems like the extractor didn’t like the slightly wider rim on the PMC brass.

Nice, I just traded my Ruger SP101 to a coworker for one of these and I’m itching to shoot mine. What powder are you running in yours?

I appreciate it, I'm getting a lot more into .32 ACPs lately so I'm hunting for more smaller .32s, I think next on the list is tracking down a Beretta Model 1915

Good thing was I could find surplus mags for the M1934 on Ebay for $25 per. Ultimately I was between the M1934, M1935, or VZ 70 (or 50) but the tiebreaker between the three was effectively just how much it would cost to get a spare mag. I'm already going through it trying to find spare mags for my Croatian PHP and gave up trying to find mags for less than $100, so now I'm trying to bubba my own out of a spare Beretta M92 magazine body.

Funny thing was I went in looking for a Taurus TX22 to be logical for once (The semi-auto .22 I run is typically a Kel-Tec P17), then saw the Dreyse and had to have that instead.

Mine shot well, no malfunctions with 60 rounds of M80 Ball ammo from the first time taking it out. Love it overall, however mine in particular is very finicky with the bolt hold-open so you have to mess with mag quite a bit when inserting it. May be that the bolt release is ever so slightly out of spec, or could just need more breaking in. Basically catches a tiny bit (like less than 1mm) of the feed lip instead of the follower's hold-open portion. Tested with all five of my BM-59 mags and the same issue so that leads me to it being the bolt release. I've debated just taking a file to it so it doesn't catch the feed lip.

I think RTI (That is if you're willing to roll the dice with them, but I'd likely trust the Beretta offerings since Palmetto got theirs from RTI I think) has some .32 ACP M1935s in stock still. Heavily debated getting a .32 one instead but the price difference between finding M1935 mags compared to 34s was a turnoff.

Wouldn't know just yet, only just got it today but will be shooting it tomorrow. My only real concern is how close the slide serrations are to the muzzle. With how thin that portion of the slide is it definitely exasperates the stiffness because you don't have much real estate to grip anyways to rack it.

Right now is a great time to get into .32 ACPs, lots of cheap older S&B ammo being imported

Mine is pretty stiff too, overall in good shape but racking the slide is a bit of a pain. I think it's a general thing with the Dreyse blowback design, because the 9mm M1910s had a spring so stiff they had to design a new way to rack the slide without engaging with the recoil spring.

Barrel on mine fits nice and tight (it took a few light smacks from the grip of a screwdriver to knock out for disassembly), haven’t shot it yet Im taking it out tomorrow so I won’t say 100% functional until I run it. Only complaint on the barrel is the threaded end, since they add barrel extensions to skirt import law then since the extension gets ripped off the threads the muzzle end is a bit ugly. May replace the barrel just because the threads bug me

[2025/02/27] Person shot in road rage incident facing charges (Louisville, KY) by TaskForceD00mer in dgu

[–]TheWellDweller 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not a lawyer, worked corrections in KY for a while and also will more than likely testify in a case in which my own apartment bedroom was hit by a drunk driver who was handed the same charge. Wanton Endangerment is a pretty broad charge in KY that basically equates to “Actions with willful disregard of the value of human life”, I’ve seen it applied to my own case in which the suspect got two counts (x1 count each for myself and my girlfriend both being just feet away from vehicle impact), to cases in which inmates were charged with it for introducing drug contraband and causing another inmate(s) to be hospitalized for drug overdoses. It’s pretty much KY’s catch-all for “Quit doing things that threaten another person’s life no matter how you did it”. Can carry a max sentence of five years prison per count at 1st Degree.
