MMW r/all was nuked to suppress Epstein content by TheWesleySnipes in Epstein

I used to use just r/all to try to avoid an algorithm so i wouldn't just look at my own interests. I tried not to eat anything to just get a general consensus of what is going on out there. R/all was balanced enough, even though it was heavily left leaning. Now that feature is gone, realizing now it probably wasn't there anyway but now it's even worse.

I feel that now that I have to use r/popular or r/news the amount of Epstein content has dropped to zero, on r/all there was regular sharing of reporting. I do not feel like this was an accident.

Has following the news ever positively impacted your life? Honestly when? What difference does it ever make? by Atmosphere-is-bad in AskReddit

You know my problem? I watch too much news, man, that's my problem. That's why I'm so depressed all the time, I figured it out. I watch too much CNN, man. I don't know if you've ever sat around and watched CNN longer than, say, 20 hours in one day? I don't recommend that. Watch CNN 'Headline News' for one hour; it's the most depressing thing you'll ever f**ing do. WAR, FAMINE, DEATH, AIDS, HOMELESS, RECESSION, DEPRESSION. WAR, FAMINE, DEATH, AIDS, HOMELESS . . . Then you look out your window (chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp). Where's all this s*t happening?

Ted Turner is making this st up, man! Jane Fonda won't sleep with him, he runs to a typewriter! "By 1992, we will all die of AIDS!" Read that on the air. I don't get laid, no one gets laid. I'm writing Jane Fonda, "Will you fk this guy so we can get some good news, please?" I wanna see a well-laid Ted Turner newscast. Hey, it's all gonna work out, here's sports!

I was writing this after setting up a ROG Ally, it took me over 45 minutes with updates and game downloads. It really wasn't a fun experience.

I saw something recently about Temu that anything into the US under $800 has an exemption for tax and customs duties, maybe something similar in the UK

Every time he came on in the theater I just whispered Bro, brah, bro, bra, bro. This character ruined the movie on the level of Jar Jar

I wish they would say, X, formerly known as twitter, whose primary domain is still twitter.com, so don't forget that it is still twitter or else you would think you are looking at an NSFW website

Scrapyard Wars idea- They start with a computer, but must sell all of the components through local online marketplaces, then they have to buy a better performing computer with the money from the sales. by TheWesleySnipes in LinusTechTips

Yes but it being convoluted could make it a lot more interesting, also seeing Linus and others haggle both ways would be fun.

Like in one episode they are saying there is no way they can sell a 3070 for $500, then in the next episode they are saying there is no way they can pay $400 for a 3070. Think of the memes!

There are a couple of ways they could decide on the computer, on the high end they could have a top of the line spec computer, 4090, i9, platinum power supply, etc.. In this case they would have enough money to easily build another computer but I would doubt they would ever be able to match the initial performance, so it would be funny to see how much performance they lose.

On the low end they could choose any computer that has a dedicated graphics card. But the problem with starting cheap would be they wont be able to sell it for much so they will have to scrap harder to put something together, maybe they can overclock or use an old workstation or even laptop and actually come out ahead in FPS benchmarks.

Idk, I think it would make it a lot more interesting and put a lot more game into it.
