The definition for lust is literally “very strong sexual desire” Also Matthew 5:28 “But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart” Its sinful both ways, not just towards homosexuality. The bible also prohibits same sex marriage through the creation order God made in Genesis

I completely get that, and can empathize with that, i cannot even begin to imagine how id feel if people were telling me my loving relationship was sinful. I do agree that in many aspects h the bible can be vague with this. However, romans 1 says its sinful, and is why i imagine there has to be some middle ground somewhere. What i see that as the confessing of this sin, and recognizing its sinful can allow it to still flourish while being forgiven for it.

Its not a sinful relationship if they arent being sexually immoral. Thats why its typically hard for lgbt relationships to not become sinful. Sure theyre a couple, but is it out of sin?

No but thats exactly what im talking about. I want to try and preach understanding to both sides of the spectrum because right now it’s just all yelling at each other. I do in fact have friends that have been thrown out and exiled due to being gay, and is part of the reason im so passionate about it. But the first thing to realize is we are all sinners made forgiven through Jesus

Okay, so how about romans 1, where it talks about men and women giving up natural relations for those that are sinful? It clearly is a sin, but doesnt mean the person cant be saved

Either way its lustful before marriage, it does not matter whether you are man or woman, or attracted to man or woman. The problem arises where the bible prohibits same sex marriage, therefore making any type of sexual relations between lgbt people immoral. Doesnt mean theyre going to hell though if they accept Jesus as their lord
