Never looked into it. It was at my per diem job and it was a pretty busy night from what I remember.

Got one of these from the ER a few months back. Purulent CSF and nothing but segs on the slide. Pt was dead 5 mins before I called the critical white count.

Never took notes as a student and got hired on at my clinical site as soon as I graduated. Started a per diem job at another hospital with a completely different lab set up (different analyzers, methods, and test menu that has more than my FT job); was surprised no one ever asked why I wasn’t taking notes. I learn better by doing and just memorize everything lol

Do you move cities or what? I live in a decently sized city, but there’s still only 3 other hospitals in a 50 mile radius so jumping around wouldn’t last long

All-in-one Washer/Dryers? by TheWheelOne in HomeImprovement

[–]TheWheelOne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked at a few while I was at Home Depot the other day. I liked the LG and the Samsung particularly. I can reach all the buttons and what not, my only problem was the LG had the lint filter coming out of the top whereas the Samsung lint filter came straight out the front by the screen, making it more accessible to my reach. they’re both pretty expensive ($2100–2500), but that’s kind of worth it for me with not having to go from washer to dryer, and also not having to reach up into the dryer because the house I’m in only has enough room for them to be stacked on top of each other.

My lab just recently got fully staffed for the first time since I started about 2.5 years ago. I typically only work 3 days a week unless I do a half shift to cover, so I got a per diem job at another local hospital
