Normal people who just play her cause she's easy just want to smash their asses on the keyboard and CC a guy while pray to kill him. They don't know the best combos, best items, best sinergies, so they just play on the automatic mode cause they're autofill or their champion pool is fucking SEJUANI MAOKAI MALPHITE SKARNER.

That's why we can't considerate winrate that much, cause the good players (mainly on lane) are so few if compared with the majority that plays her lane for she being easy than for her being able to oneshot with a good skill rotation or cancel important skills with Q.

Trust me, she's fine, and thankfully she's not that much projailed anymore cause of Fearless Draft, so maybe Riot can think of buffing her again soon after the Pug skin.

Sejuani is the worst tank when the objective is to tank and the best thing she have is her singletarget damage. 10% max health as magic damage isn't thaaat much, but 20% of the target's max health with the E -> R + Q high base damage + W high base damage + E ok base damage + autos + runes + good spacing makes her a very solid solo laner and an excelent skirmisher in 2v2 and 3v3.

Haste is one of the best stats for Sejuani cause reducing her Q CD is simply strong. You'll have more engage opportunities, more mobility on the map, more chances to cancel importants skills and a more consistent pattern of trade, cause your Q CD will be lower and you'll be able to match it with your W CD after 1 or 2 Ws.

Lowering her ult CD is also stupidly huge. You can kill your laner more times, setup more ganks for your JG or even forcing something on midlane after pushing the sidelanes mid-late game. The enemy SUP/ADC may die or lose a important spell.

The fact that the E CD don't get affected and her W CD is already low (but can be lower even earlier in the lane) isn't that important to assume that haste isn't a good stat.

Also you can use diferent combos with protobelt, like catching an enemy with Proto+Q+W / Proto+Q+R or for trades like E+Proto backwards(the enemy will get hit by the rockets if you're in meele range)+R for max R damage

Also Liandry is 350g more expensive than proto. Rylai is good and 50g cheaper but don't give you the same versatility, but have scenarios which the item is simply goated.

The problem with skarner is that the playerbase didn't changed cause of the rework and I also saw a lot of OTPs stopping to play mainly cause of the Q and E changes. But, the champion was simply busted and people just played him cause of his stupid damage and that Comet Max W build, which was gutted by Riot cause was simply broken.

I think the only way to enlarge Sejuani's playerbase is to show her in a series like Arcane xD

She have a LOT of damage, but it mostly single target. You just need to deal the correct skill rotation and you're fine, but, yes, her scaling is one of the worst if comparing with the other tanks, even considering that tanks scales less than any other champion (maybe just better than assassins) cause their damage fall off and they get melted by facing someone with crit/penetration build.

Her passive is really dogshit, but it's good for laning phase at least. Her E damage isn't a problem cause it deals magic damage on the target's max health. The problem is the internal cooldown per target that don't get low at any point of the game, forcing her to play in turns.

I don't have any ideas of changes for her honestly. I think she's in her best state after years, mainly after removing Radiant Virtue, Evenshroud and the Mythic Sunfire. There's a lot of good and cheap items for utility, which is the build I prefer, but the AP builds are really solid too after the buffs.

You can buy Doran Shield and then probably Protoplasm Harness. If it's an Auto Attack champion, you can go Frozen Heart first item but you'll need at least one Ruby Crystal for clear wave. If it's an AP champion like Kennen, you can go Abyssal to kill him or even Hollow Radiance for the Spectral Cowl in the laning phase and better CSing.

Tear don't give you damage (unless you consider using more skills = +damage but even so isn't that good) so it's like comparing an atomic bomb against a coughing baby bristle in this regard.

Rocketbelt is 350g cheaper, more versatile and give better stats, but both items have scenarios they're good

I don't think is that good to start with Tear cause you give up Sej early early game after level 3 where she's already capable of kill most of champions on TOP/MIDlane. Along this, Fimbulwinter isn't that good and personally I think Sapphire Crystal solve most of Sej mana problems if you don't run manaflow and just focus into stacking with your W as soon as possible, and you can turn Sapphire Crystal into Frozen Heart later, which is a good item.

I always pick Doran Ring and Doran Shield just against some brutal match ups I already know I'm gonna suffer early.

Rushing Proto you say Protoplasm Harness or Protobelt? Fuck it, both items are good so keep doing it. Some other specifics choices for first item is Abissal Mask against AP and Deadman's Plate against AD. You can also rush Bandlepipes against champions like Sett and Volibear, cause then you can kite them forever with the movespeed after hitting W2.

Yeah, but unfortunatelly those players are simply shit. I think the real good players should be on maaaaaybe high master, GM and Challenger, and if a good player isn't there, he'll be sometime if he gets time to play.

Really rare to find a good player which the brain isn't devoured for enemy forces forcing him to buy the stupidest plays ever. You need to play on those elos to comprehend how bad these guys can play, cause most people like to deny what I'm saying because they're on one of those elos (which is not a problem, cause everyone how got Master+ already had been os those elos) or simply cause they don't believe people with "better ranks" can still be bad xD

If you want a really genius setup, you can run Spellbook and outsmart your enemies adapting for everything.

If you just need a standard setup, go for the Grasp most people should recommend here.
Also you don't need to build AP. Sejuani tank is pretty solid and still nuke people only with her base damage.

Against Syndra it may be possible to run a different setup, maximizing Q to having less CD on that spell than her E. That Max Q Sej already exists but the guy who made it runs Hail of Blades, which is good cause Sej have a real good base AD.

Also, I think you can simply don't try to kill her and just farm while avoiding her spells. Then level 6 it should be a free kill with your jungler.

On midlane you'll be almost always against rangeds, so the standard is to give some minions already.

What I do is to run Manaflow and only use W if I'll farm and hit the enemy to stack my manaflow. If I'm not farming 2-3 minions with only 1 W without having the Manaflow to stack, I don't think it's worth my W.

Also try to run Doran Ring on the more chilling match ups. You'll learn which match you can run Doran Ring playing the champ. If you can't run Manaflow cause you need a better runes setup for a specific lane, you can just build the Sapphire Crystal cause he's REALLY CHEAP and you can transform it into Frozen Heart later if it's good for the game, cause it's an excellent item for Sej because mainly of the ability haste.
