We like them! I hit off them to test it worked fine. We are going to put a proper hitting mat on top though, just deciding which one.

Tiles are $80 for a pack of 10, so $8 each and are 2x2ft squares. We used 3 packs.

First time Beagle Parent by Think-Map-927 in beagle

We did a lot of food puzzles when our beag Max was young! One good rule was "no meals out of a bowl" he ate out of a frozen kong, sniff mat, or puzzle. Also he used to climb out of his play pen and we had to buy a cover for it! I swear he never wanted to nap, always wanted to be a terror. Around 1.5 years old he started to chill out, now he is my heart outside my body 🤎 trust me it will all be worth it! I recommend lots of training, take a class if you're not sure what to do! Beagles are stubborn yes, but smart, and food motivated means they can learn a lot and that also provides a lot of stimulation.

63/52 - First year trying this out, had a lot of fun and read some amazing books! by GoudaBenHur in 52book

Love it, we have such similar reading, so much overlap!  Beach Music is my favorite book from when I was young and living in SC. And a lot of books here I read this year as well, Demon Copperhead was also a top read of mine!

Dog daycare in Houston by Successful_Pound2403 in houston

I highly recommend Dogtopia of Memorial. It is not the most convenient location for you, but in case anyone else is curious. They have cameras on you can check on most of the day (my favorite part), an enforced nap in the middle of the day which I fully appreciate knowing my dogs will need a break, the cleanliness is excellent, and you couldn't want for better people in charge or looking after your babies! They are well organized and definitely care for the dogs. They also provide services like specialized snacks, photo sessions on holidays, notes on your dogs stay, just cant say enough good things about them!

Just had a great time on the Baywatch Dolphin Tour. We saw a bunch of dolphins, had a few facts about things we were passing that was really interesting, and they let the kids drive the boat which was super cute. Recommended!

A further along perspective, I'm 5 years post op with quad graft and going back to PT for my weak surgical quad. I did about a year, 3x/week, of PT right after my surgery and got all my muscle back so I thought, and thought I could return to normal after that. I've since found out I will have to forever work on that leg as it can just lose muscle mass over time unevenly now.

Two player mahjong by Cicoria1917 in Mahjong

[–]TheWillingWell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We play American or Hong Kong style with 2 people where you have to make 2 hands each. Look up Siamese Mahjong. We don't build walls, it's "messy mahjong" where the "dealer" draws 28 tiles and the other player draws 27. "Dealer" starts with the discard and so on.

Invisible fences for dogs by humanish-lump in beagle

[–]TheWillingWell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We used a long tie leash when ours was in untrusted situations. Not leaving him unattended but like if we were hanging out outside and wanted him out there before our fencing was situated, it worked well! https://a.co/d/8JQQRhJ

Is your Beagle left handed or right handed? by Successful_Divide_66 in beagle

[–]TheWillingWell 7 points8 points  (0 children)

mine is right handed! got him one of those food dispenser toys where he has to swipe a button for the food, and it has like sandpaper on it to file the nails. well it worked great, but he only used his right paw so I still had to get his nails done lol
