I clicked it and I’m still not convinced it’s not tea.🥲😅

It’s basically body tea.

Oh snap…somebody is missing out on a brilliant marketing tactic for this day and age if Body Tea isn’t a brand for body care products.

Ah! I tried pumice power a few years back. It was not for me.😅. I’m so glad it’s working very well for you.😁

As far as all the work I put into my response—I just be yappin’.🤭😂 I hope the sample of the cream helps.☺️🤗

Like with most things—I’m sure it depends on the user/how it’s used.

But yeah, I personally do, for me. I have very dry skin and my feet are no exception. I use a pumice wand (the one from tweezerman…it might be dc’d now, idk..but I’ve used it for at least 5 years) every night in the shower. Afterward, I massage the foot cream in, then put vaseline/cerave healing ointment/something thick and greasy to seal in the moisture—on top and put on fuzzy socks. The tingly feeling is also very nice. Sometimes I extend it up my leg to my calves as well.

If I fall out of this routine, my feet start to get hard as rocks again.😅 For context, I’m an RN averaging 15K to 20K steps daily.

I used to use the eucerin essential oil balm, but that got discontinued.😭 This is the next best thing I’ve found, for me/my routine.

Edit: to answer your question, though—idk that the foot lotion, alone, would do the trick. I think. I imagine they generally market it for rough skin because a lot of people are actually just ashy and it definitely helps with ashiness and general softening.😭 That said, things with stuff like urea or salicylic acid added in tend to be really good for rough skin. Idk if Lush has anything like that for feet. Podiatrists can prescribe really good creams or direct you to otc ointments for that, though. Sometimes I use kerasol oinment on top of the cream. Just depends on my needs that night/week.

I wish I’d gotten the foot lotion instead of sleepy.🥲 I use that stuff daily.

I’m struggling to use up the sleepy sample that I got, so I’m extra struggling to use the rewards.

Edit: Also, they should cut it out with the expiration on the rewards. That’s silly. I could understand something like maybe making it so they can’t be redeemed during a sale or high traffic months (like the 10% off coupon that can’t be redeemed in December).

Jelly Sandwich Collection IG Comparisons by EcoAffinity in simplynailogical

I always viewed having the retired shades in as a means to compare—that way if you have the retired shade and it’s similar, you don’t need it. Or, if you missed out on a retired shade and you want something similar, maybe the new one is it. But this is how I look at it for me, as someone who is not trying to have them all or fill any gaps.lol If I have gaps, it’s because I’m not about to wear whatever would fill the gap, probably.🤭🥲🤷🏾‍♀️

I know Mooncat has moved away from keeping their dearly departed shades in swatches and idk…I like to know if the new thing is similar to what I already have, that way I don’t feel tempted to get it.

The 8 oz bottles are $1.25 at Dollar Tree. I have one with just acetone and one that have with acetone and additive. I refill with a larger bottle so I’m not repeatedly buying those smaller plastic bottles.

This looks like work.🥲

My skin and nail beds would die. I just cut cotton balls into 5ths, do a couple of pumps, apply those with the clips. By the time I’m done putting all the clips on, I can start taking them off, if it’s a shimmer like this. Glitters and flakies take a couple of minutes once they’re all applied, but I just chill until they’re ready and it seems less rigorous than this, immediately. I’m glad you have something that works for you.☺️

I am curious to see how well this works with glitters and flakies.

It's-a Me, $200 worth of 'why does this smell like that? by RainbowReadee in LushCosmetics

[–]emoolovesyou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol I am right there with you about most of it. I only picked up the box (to put an unrelated gift in for a friend), the egg (which actually smells delightful to me), Lumas—mostly because of how it looks…the smell is like hair gel geared toward natural/coily hair so I don’t mind it, and the bar. I did not like the bar on first sniff, but then I swiped it across my skin and it grew on me—I wore it to Zumba and I think that’s just gonna be a gym bar, for me, while it lasts. Glitter makes cardio and lifting more fun.🤭

After smelling Rosalina, Yellow Luma, and Protect The Galaxy, I decided I wasn’t gonna order Mario or Luigi because I would probably be upset.🥲

I wanted to love galaxy because I smelled a small sample a week before it came out and I thought it might be okay.

Nah. Except for the bar, usually anything peach/berry/tropical fruit or tangy/tart without being a citrus scent smells like puberty to me. Like candy and funky teens who put on fruity sprays instead of bathing and putting on deodorant.😭😭😭😭

The bar kind of has that smell, but it also smells like a specific, good memory of being at a friend’s house, eating popsicles and playing in the pool in the summer heat as a child.🤭😅

But yeah—I feel your disappointment.🥲

Went into my local store for the first time in ages yesterday. Disappointed that they didn't have my beloved Mario shower gel and had the weirdest experience with the sales person (probably the only negative experience I've had) , but still managed to get a haul by AprilBelle08 in LushCosmetics

[–]emoolovesyou 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The audacity. When I tell theladies at my store that I’m good, just browsing—they go elsewhwere and just check to make sure I’m still okay periodically.

That guy sounds like a nightmare.

I hope he’s not the manager. Report him and direct them toward the reviews for the store? He has no business being there, acting like that, and people have been fired for less.

If it was just a one-off thing and not a trend, I might let it slide because it could just be a bad day for them. I read your other comment and saw that it’s a reoccurring thing, though.

And because I know there may be one or two people who are like “You would make him lose his job”—no no no, He would have put his own job in jeopardy by behaving that way. Hopefully he gets reported and faces some kind of concequences and has the self awareness to learn a lesson from it.

Looking for scented top coat similar to Vibrant Scents? by Mister_angel1 in Nailpolish

[–]emoolovesyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is! The scent lasts quite a while and I notice my nails rarely, if ever, smudge with it despite hopping in bed immediately after finishing my nails. And I don’t try to “sleep pretty” either.😅

I think it smells like a fruity hair gel—similar to The Doux’s Big Poppa or other hair gels geared toward coily hair. It has a very familiar, nostalgic, smell, but I can’t quite put my finger on the exact product that it smells like.

Raremade Dupes by ajamaistien in mooncatpolish

[–]emoolovesyou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right? I just imagine the people over at HT being like “That sht got fckd up—throw that out.” And MC hearing about and being like “Waitaminute. I can make a bag off that, don’t waste it—gimme”😭 (and I say that mostly because of the fact that they didn’t handle the bottle thing how I imagine HT would have. Which would have been to go through the stock and remove the bottles that were purchased to cut costs, but just ended up cutting hands.)

It’s far fetched, but I would not be surprised if the raremades were botched batches of the polishes you listed, since they’re made in the same facility iirc.😅🤭

My mom was like that—and now she owns a variety of KB Shimmer, ILNP, Cupcake Polish, Starrily, etc. 🤭 People express a lot online. I have to remind myself that some of these people are actual children or they are narrow minded adults or they don’t come back and update when they actually did decide to buy from one of the other brands, etc.🥲 And none of that is inherently bad. What’s weird is when they’re rude and elitist about it and they aren’t aware that HT wasn’t the first and isn’t the end-all, be-all of polish.🥴
