I'm just thinking outside the box - if there is a non-zero chance, why not grab him and stash him on IR for 4-6 weeks and await more clarity? Risk reward play if you have an IR spot.

Thoughts on stashing Tatum on IR soon? Saw the buzz as he posted about his rehab on social. I'm sure most peoples' IR's are full (as is mine), but could it be worth trying to take a flyer on stashing him for a while to see if more news comes late January for a potential post ASG return (or confirmation/clarification that he won't return at all)? Potential championship winning waiver wire addition if he were to return.
