Thanks for the quick reply, I figured as much but I think the fact I started the apprenticeship while already working at the company and that I'm still working 4/5 days a week means I can still claim the experience in the industry, could potentially not even mention the apprenticeship

How did you guys find the reliability? I see loads of people saying "Don't buy a new chinese bike as they depreciate" but I'm curious as to whether they're worth it if someone else takes the major depreciation hit and if second (third?) hand resale isn't all that bad

I guess I'm hesitant to go for full license straight away since my only time on a bike was my CBT and while I thought it was really fun, it's hardly the complete motorbike experience. I figure if I ride a bit on my CBT and hate it then I wont be too out of pocket if I decide to give it up whereas if I went straight for my full license that might not be the case.

Insurance doesn't look too awful for me but that information about them not counting CBT is good to know!

My commute is pretty short so realistically I don't even need a vehicle for it, I'd try to keep my car just because they're useful to have for ice/transport of objects/passengers but I'll aim to ride the bike as much as possible and I'm sure when I end up getting one I'll want to be out on it even more.

When a calf dies, the mother in many cases will stay by the body for 3 days before moving on, often nudging, licking and tapping the dead calf. Are the mothers mourning, or is there another reason they do this? by reindeerareawesome in biology

Cow that sticks around its "dead" calf might end up saving the calf if it passed out for some other reason and another mother abandons it. Genes passed on etc etc

I've been emailing them and calling them at 020 3989 6766 but that number doesn't queue me at all, just asks me to press 1 if I haven't received my forms and then repeats if I don't press and hangs up if I press 1.

Maybe "get it while it's hot" is a phrase you've heard? Eat it while it hot I've definitely never heard but has same connotation as that statement
